There were some rather cool people there, and some not so cool people. (the stupid scally bastards that a) tried to run me down and kill me in there car. b)then continued to chase after me and squirt me with a super soaker. c) they probably smelt of piss)

Everything else was ok I suppose....

E) start off a civil conversation about how we "do our hair" cyber spike style, and turn it into how we look like twats and we're all puffs for dressing like that..
Flight
when i say it was ing good i am slightly in denial ;]
cost a stupid amount for anything, tiesto was boring mostly, armin was good but the same as recent sets, ferry was ok but i prefer uplifting, jules was kinda cool at the end. missed fergie and marco. imo of course ;p

the lights/lasers were good tho :)

didnt get enough hard house (like 30 mins of farley) and the mud was ing annoying, oh yeah gotta get my trainers out of the wash...
DJ Mikey Mike
Apart from the Mud it was ing great!

my lineup went:

Jon O Bir
Petrae Foy Wow
Bit of Lange / Bit of Tall Paul :wtf:
Push (Live) (but they were clearly cheating.. that guy was not playing the keyboard! :p )
Paul Kershaw Mint!
DJ Tiesto - Mixing - Tunes - Sound System for his set
Lab 4 (Live) - Meh
Armin Van Buuren
Marco V
Ferry Corsten Average set from Ferry
Bit of Judge Jules / Bit of Adam Beyer - Jules () - Adam Beyer

Mud :(

Edit: Oh.. some of us met some non-UKTA's as well! Bert! we met Bert! (robert nickson :toothless) and Snuggle from Holland, and his mate that was with him who told me his name but it was in dutch so i dunno who he was :( His name possibly began with the letter M.. possibly Magrec. Nice guys :) And Proximas who was also lavly!

And some TA's i hav never met before like vic, toni, luke, dj_mdma (who i dont think knew who i was :p ), Wiley, Crusader, spin doctor, and more i think, all of who were well class!

I had a wicked time because I finally got to meet you all. And a very hospitable crowd you are ;) . Yer, the gk tent's sound system was ed, and i think i'm gonna have to throw my trainers away. Got far too ed to notice much of Tiesto's set, but then calmed down. Never saw marco v before, and i quite enjoyed it. Shame about the beer boy Kevs

First time I had been to Global Gathering and it was wicked. Looked like at first we would be queuing for hours but as mate lives in the area knew a backroute and missed the traffic!
Didn't mind it being muddy (SSS 2001 was worse) as all the tents were dry inside except for sundissential which was like being in a bog.
Sound systems were alright however for some reason the global tent soundsystem had to be turned right down while carl cox was playing and he wasn't pleased!
Think the atmosphere in all arenas died after 2am probably due to the mud. Didn't see any attitude at all. Best dj for me was tiesto however armin did drop a remix of binary finary which was amazing.

dj_mdma
mike, was you wearing a tshirit with Armin angel on it? No i proabably dind't know who u were :stongue: never mind!

and where the was sam for the whole thing? As Fraz put it "proabably off in a corner snogging Andy C" :toothless

and i think Armin dropped Binary Finary - 1998! tune! Classic! :D
