Wisdom Teeth

ahh they are getting taken out tommarow... any pointers?
i had mixed opinions about the operation some told me that it hurts during the operation and more after
some told me that it doesnt hurt at all during the operation and it hurts after...
im scared man .. will it really hurt that bad?
btw my teeth arnt coming out, they are still inside the gums so thats good

| well, i just got mine out a few weeks ago. i didnt have any top ones:conf: i was put under a general anesthetic for pain, and when i woke up i was sedated outta my mind. gauze and lots of it. and you cant spit, drink from a straw, blah blah blah for a few days. oh yeah, and food=mush. |

wait so they gassed you or used iv?
im gonna get the operation where they just put local anesthesia and proceed with operation.
edit: u think they will let me listen to my music while they my mouth with dental tools? |

Get the full knockout man, it's good stuff. They gave me some n2o and then gave me something that knocked me out. I had some interesting dreams...
But I woke up, was sedated out of my mind, and didn't have any pain over the next couple of days. Ate alot of ice cream and Wendy's shakes, it rocked.
Of course I'm lucky and I only had the top wisdom teeth for some reason, so I didn't have as much done as most people do...
I had a good time though. Especially considering how terrible everyone made it out to be. Maybe I'm just lucky? |

im ing pissed... my mom says it costs too much ing bitch..
hopefully i die in the middle of the procedure so like i can blame it on them..
my last dying breath ill say i told you so.. then ill have some massive seizure and die..

| I had a friend that had them taken out and she was puking and coughing up blood for a week... But then again, she was kinda weak, and the doctor was a o. |

I sure as wouldn't have done it if I couldn't get the full knockout. I got it once before too for pulling teeth down before I got braces, and it was a good time then too. What was wierd was I had a dream where I was in the same room I was getting operated on, and I was still in surgery, the only thing different was that there was reggae music playing while they were screwing with me. So when I went in to get my wisdom teeth removed I asked them about it and they basically called me rummy in so many words.:D
Push your parents man, I'd HATE to sit there watching them cut into me. Don't you have any medical/dental insurance coverage that can help out? |

| pshh have fun. hurts like hell but its worth it. those teeth just make more problems. i got mine out like 2 yrs ago. Make sure u dont use a straw tho cuz u will reopen them :) |

| i was put out with the anesthesia and i woke up during the procedure while they were cracking my tooth out of my mouth!!!!!!! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: in bastards! |
