What do you use mainly for your Instant Messages??
Trillian? MSN? ICQ? AIM? YIM (yahoo)? LIM (lycos)? other?
I use trillian b/c it does everything!!! and it's got wikid skins!! |

| I'm on a mac so I use iChat mostly but if I want to talk to my PC buddies I use Fire. |

I'm just using MSN mainly now, as nearly everybody is using it now and most of my ICQ contacts also have MSN.
I think the same thing that happened with IE vs Netscape in in 1996-1997 is happening with MSN vs ICQ now. Their "integrating" of IE into their operating systems is probably the main reason why it became so much popular with users, and now MSN Messenger comes standard on Windows XP, Windows ME and Windows 2000 so it would appear to the novice user as their first choice. Also, when you install IE 5.5 on Windows 95/98 you have no choice but to install an antiquated version of MSN Messenger. I personally don't like MSN very much and would far rather use ICQ, but there seems to be so few people using it nowadays. |

| i dont really like MSN, i use AIM, but i used to use ICQ alot before i got a nasty virus...havent bothered installin it again... |
