WTF!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?!?!
I had no idea what to expect from these guys, but let me tell you.....they completely blew me away!!!! :eyes:

| Last night confirmed what I had already suspected - Infected Mushroom are gods. Best party I've been to this year. Totally made up for the disaster that was WEMF. Unbelievable. |

ahhh ..what can i say....
another great party added to the list of "candidate for party of the year" (my money is on the anniversary show with what looks like it will most likely be armin and mark O - this is a rumour).
Got there around 12.40....bline for the patio to make my rounds. After these were concluded...headed over to the main room to my usualy spot between the right speaker and top center stage (near the dj booth and stage). My spot was perfect cuz i was right in front of the speaker and had a clear view of the lasers...wheeee.....Mark ripped it up again..something i will never get accustomed too cuz its a different rip everytime he does it.
When Infekted mushroom finally came on... the reaction was farely average....even tho they are the first guests that mark has introduced in forever...he really should announce the guest djs when they are starting more often ....gets the crowd hyped and the dj hyped too....THESE GUYS KILLED IT.....i couldnt id a single track (then again i suck at that) but it seemed as tho every song in this special "LIVE" set was unbelievable...what orginality, what imagination, what a creation we had for the next 3 hours, or more i think.....then it was time for some clinical MARK O finishing...and he really came through with flying colours....
Headed to the Comfort Zone where Addy was awesome as usual...DEKO-ze TORE THAT PLACE up....lotta tearing happening here.....but oh well..he DID....sick sick and sick again. He was so pumped and energized and it really just flowed into the crowd. Finally we got to hear some great tech-house (i think)...it was half techno ...half tribal/progressive....weird mix but well performed and well mixed...no errors it seemed by Kenny Glasgow. Got home at 4pm and then promply fell asleep in my shower. You know the rest....:)
Highlights = that song that goes the way it does and sounds so amazing....met alot of really cool people last night.
Lows = ummm none
Rating = 11/10
perfect night out
shouts outs - shaya, nismo, guvaddict, james and even tho they wont read this most likely, Bella and Mark (great meeting you two) and ofcourse Joe and Yvonne (awesome partying with u guys again.)

so as it is i was late and stuff, finally get to guv around 10:40 or so...bithc makes me remove my chain (which was attached to my keys) and later on in the night i see several others WITH them on:whip:...anyway..i guess it depends how lucky u are at security..
shoutouts to Cuzo (Happy birthday again dood), Shaya007, cono_sur, nismodreams, torontobarfly, TECHNOaddict, vicyvale, cap, fn_xtc, resnick..umm..thats it i think (who i met that is)
all i gotta say is, last night confirmed why i love infected mushroom.....
it was shocking that it was SO packed inspite of them being psy and there arent many that are into psy (then again a whole load of peopel think psy and goa is HArd trance)
was more GOA than psy last night WHICH I LOVEDDDDDDDDDD....
unfortunately we had to leave around 4 since it was just WAY too hot and was unbearable.....we left while they were playing Psycho....anyone can tell us what time they got off??
what happened after we left is something idont want to remember....
lets just say what shouldve taken 20 minutes took 45 :whip: :whip: :whip: ..in caribana chaos

IM was really amazing, as this was my first time seeing them. too bad the guv was the worst ive ever seen it, very very hot in their, too many people, I spent like 90% of the time just letting people pass by...and i was so hungry i just couldnt take it anymore, i had to leave...
but i would definetly want to hear those guys again, they started off full of energy and kept it going throughout the night...and oliver ofcourse dropped some massive tunes.
Anyways nice meeting some of the people...basically whoever posted in this thread, except samhouse, never saw u, but ive met u before... |

i didn't find it that hot after being at wemf last weekend...guv temp was pleasant for me.
i had an amazing time at infected mushroom! they played hard and i felt like got so much energy from the music. mark o also played very well (altho i heard him play a clocks remix and satisfaction two times throughout the night- haha...some ppl do stay at teh guv for THAT long). anyway...the music was fantastic, the vibe was nice and we had a good send off to our good friends that are leaving for teh arctic tomorrow!
it was great to see our birthday boys CUZO and HIGH SPIRIT- i hope you guys had amazing birthdya celebrations and i was glad to be a part of it!
great to finally meet shaya and his fiance- supernice individuals!
and it was great to se del again, if only breifly!
sad that i never saw cono_sur:(
pixiechick (erika) and torontobarfly (craig) and i were in the centre for most of the night!

i've been Infected the last 24 hours or so and just NOW recovering...:D
What an AWESOME party!!!! I had sooo much fun!! WOW!!!! Definitely one of THE parties of the year for me! :happy2:
Waited in the really long queue for about 20 minutes, finally got in at 10:50. Went inside and headed straight for the Acid Lounge where I met DJ El Kay Dee. We chatted it up, walked around a bit and met a few other TAs (shoutouts to come later).
Fast forward to 2pm....and IM enter the stage....and wowie!!! They tore it up, couldn't stop dancing throughout their whole set!! Simply awesome!! I can't wait for their return :D. The only thing that disappointed me was that their set seemed a little short, only 2 hours.
Mark Oliver spun a great opening and closing set...eventually I left at about 6, dead tired, feet killing, and sweating like a pig (it was really hot in there, had to go to the patio a couple of times to cool off)! haha
