what trance nights have been some of your best nights ever?
mine are...
9/7/2002- armin van buuren @ glow: first time i met armin, my girl liz's birthday, he played an unforgettable set and just had an overall awesome time
10/2002- tiesto at nation: the night, the club, the dj were all flawless :D (first time i heard "tears from the moon" in a club--- i died)
11/9/2002- armin at glow: armin let me and liz chill in the dj booth for the last hour of the show...got to meet, dance, and talk with him....awesome awesome night
2/22/2003- armin at glow: first time i met aaron (:D), first trance night as a TA, first time i met joel!
4/18/2003- pvd at roxy: first time at a club in NY, first time meetng NYTA's, one of the best sets ive heard to date from pvd (imo), actually it was also my first time in NY since i was 7
5/31/2003- danny howells at arc: made so many friends, night of my babys graduation, just had a tripped out good time ;)
6/21/2003- gabriel and dresden at arc: allll my friends were there, both TA and non-TA, got to hear a funky proggy set from g&d, met josh gabriel, chilled in BK with all the TA's at vics
ok ok...i know i named a trillion nights....but that just shows how awesome trance nights are!!! what do ya'll think?!

I only have 3 that stand out the most:
Danny Tenaglia on a random night @ Vinyl. He wasn't even supposed to show up, but he arrives at 5am and tells everybody that he "feelin' it" and commences to drop the most mindblowing house music I've ever heard. He was on point that night, mixing in the KOT - Finally accapella over Knights of the Jaguar, dropping Safe From Harm for only the second time, dropping C&C Remix of Lady...!!!
Sasha & Digweed @ The Electric Factory, Philadelphia: During their Delta Heavy tour. It was my first time hearing them live. Digweed went on most of the night and completely mind ed me. I've never done a drug in my life, but his hypnotic progressive probably got me as close to what a hardcore partier feels like in their altered state.
PvD @ The Roxy: Nov. 1st, his first time playing at Roxy. First track right off the bat: TAUB? 2002. Also my second night partying with the TA's.

3.31.2002 - PvD@SF: my first trip to newyork. It was also the first time seeing Paul play in a club. OMG, hearing Animacion, live was the best. i died really much. :D
6.13.2002 / 6.14.2002 - PvD@Avalon / PvD@Exit2: first back2back heh. Also first time hearing Forbidden Fruit remake. omG it was the best song I heard in 2002 remixed by Paul. Also first time to hear Words live. :D
11.01.2003 - PvD@Roxy: my third to newyork. TA meeting at Sbarros was really cool and such a sucess. Paul's set was inmense too. Great night!!! :)
2.20.2003 / 2.21.2003 - PvD@Avalon / PvD@Roxy: second back2back heh. Avalon kinda sucked, but Roxy's set totally made up for it. :toothless
3.21.2003 - PvD@SPACE34 : BEST PvD set ever (best night too), in the best club I ever been to! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: great night, unreal. heh. all the best pvd tracks and reworks. it was so gooooood
7.12.2003 - AvB@Opium: second best night ever! Armin was fantastic, and played one of the greatest trance sets I ever heard... mmmm :happy2:

i was there that night as well. Amazing! That night is only second (IMHO) to his set from the previous WMC at the old Space - 3.24.02. Those are my top two nights. |

| My best night would have to be a few years ago when PVD played at TWILO during the summer(1999 maybe???)...anyway it was the first time i saw pvd, also the first time i ever heard darude's classic "sandstorm"--which sounded sick on the phazon. Boy do I miss TWILO's atmosphere. |

My best night recently was J00F @ Arc... (not putting in G&D because I thought their set sucked.)
Followed by the last Howells... the Vibe was intense, the Archolics plentiful, probably the best vibe I have seen to date at a club.
Tiesto @ Glow 2001.. AMAZING set
Deep Dish @ Buzz Fall 2001.... I was so ed, and the music was sooooo good... I miss Buzz, can't wait for the return! :gsmile: |

Carl Cox & Mark Lewis @ Twilo Oct. or Nov. 2000.. Carl Cox would spin from 11 - 4 starting with Funky House to Banging Techno, then Mark Lewis closes the night with Uplifting Trance, this night he encored with Art of Trance - Breathe[Dawnseekers mix]

Mauro Picotto & Dave Ralph @ Buzz DC June 2001.. first time in DC Picotto plays an identical set as his NYC debut[Twilo, 2000] and Dave Ralph rocked as usual.. it was more about the 'out of town experience' tho:D
After this event, i dont remember any memorable events in 2001.. then in September, 9-11 hit then we were all ed until.......
PvD @ Sound Factory Mar. 2002 Awesome ing set !!! my 2nd Fav. PvD set i heard LIVE.. great performance by mr. van Dyk after a year + hiatus..
Sasha & James Zabiela @ Buzz DC June 2002 WOW i havent heard Sasha since 2000 and i must say this night reminded me why i likes his style in the first place.. Sasha's the coolest mothaa behind the decls.. Zabiela was sick as well.. fun times with my krew going down to DC & back.. also the first time i met Melissa.. hehe
DJ Tek @ Roxy[back room] Aug. 2002 my first official gig.. incredible feeling thruout the set, everyone chanting the lyrics to Solarcoaster.. pure bliss.. a night i cant forget..
Underworld LIVE @ Hammerstein Ball Room NYC Oct. 2002 first time seeing these guys.. amazing talent those 2.. wow
EDIT : how can i forget ??? PvD @ Arc Nov. 2002 my all time FAV. PvD set i heard LIVE.. incredible.. 4.5hrs of non stop energy !!
