Donald Glaude @ Tha NAF '96 (Seattle, WA) - Last time I saw him play in the NW. He closed the party dropping some sick ass salsa house track at sunrise.
Crystal Method & Chemical Bros @ Electric Highway Tour '96 (San Fransico, CA) - They weren't played out yet and just coming up. Destroyed all of us with Big Lights and Big Beats.
PvD & BT @ Roseland '97 (Portland, OR) First time I heard trance live and in full effect. I never turned back. Never knew who PvD was, just thought he freakin rocked it. BT's live set was jaw dropping.
I have more for later.:D |

Tiesto @ Ultra (Miami) March 2003 - Thousands of people packed in an arena surrounded by trance
PVD @ Roxy (NYC) November 2003 - A long night with the greatest meetup and an unforgetable finale.
Steve Helstrip @ Exit (NYC) May 2003 - Mabye not the greatest party but the best live set I have ever heard.
and that Draper night that a few have mentioned above was amazing. |

Sasha & Digweed, Twilo Aug. 25, 2000...Was celebrating my 17th birthday lol and my first time at Twilo. I came to the main floor from the upstairs lounge and there was not a sound to be heard, I asked a fellow clubber what was wrong here, he said "Shhhh" and simply placed his index finger over his lips...Next thing I know Digweed comes out with a storming drop and the crowd starts groovin' again...I still think about it.
Pvd, Twilo Apr. 13, 2001..."Twilogirl" - I was leaning against a pillar in my zoned out state of mind. When I opened my eyes there was a gorgeous girl dancing right in front of me. We danced together for a hot minute, no words, no talk (in which I kicked my self in the ass for) and than went our seperate ways. We crossed paths a year later..Good times.
Ive been to my fair share of good gigs, events and superclubs...What Ive realized is that its all about that decisive moment where you have the opportunity for an unreal experience...sometimes you catch it sometimes you dont...its like a dream, it completes your night...I guess thats what I live for. |

i totally know what your talking about man. i met this Gorgeous chick last year @ Guverment for Ferry in October and we stayed in touch for awhile but she had a boyfriend at the time so we kinda lost touch after a few months. well i called her to see if she was going to Labour of Love this past sunday. turns out she had broke up with her boyfriend but she didnt know if she was going or not. so i pretty much told her "well if i see you i see you." got inside the club and was there for about 1 1/2 hours....while i was taking pics of Dj Dan's set, i feel somebody's hands grab me from behind (im thinking its some wasted gina trying to hit on me:haha: ) so i turned around and it was her!!!(her name is Jessie by the way.) i was so excited to see her and even though the party itself and the dj's were amazing.....it was that moment that we finally re-united that made my night. i die for these moments:D |
