GREEN FACT IS BACK!
After a few tracks under my alias Costa del Sol, I decided to use my green fact guise again!! I think that you remember more my works with this guise than my Costa's one, like my mix of Push's Journey of Life!
ok, here is my last work, a remix of the beautiful nocturnal creatures, original by DT and Jono Grant.
Kepping the style of the green fact alias, this has a lot of energy and a ultrauplifting melody :p The main melody has a few influences with the old 'Air cape' (now Johan & Gielen).. I love this type of lead and synths!!:)

the melody and so on: Not bad :) I like it :)
but: the mastering kinda sucks heh, it needs more bass on the kick and the bassline..maybe try a different kick ? the clap could need a little bit reverb, the hihats can be a little bit more silent (or damped)
overall it just sounds a bit thin because of the missing bass, but great work |

A nice remix.
Although I must say it sounds really flat.
The bassdrum is far too soft, the pads sound too plasticy for my liking. More reverb on them would work wonders.
A lot of mastering work is needed on this I'm afraid :(
however the bassline is very nice indeed, and the percussion sequences are good (if a little quiet) and the overall layout of the track is good :) |
