| I personally think J00F is a master of this. The way his sets evolve though progressive, into trance, into psy, is remarkable imo. |

| Joof is also very good. I agree. When we saw him he dropped a LOT of psy, we were all in shock, it was VERY good though. |

what methods do you use to mix trance/breaks into DnB? do you just play out the songs and find a nice spot when theres no beat? play the songs out? or do you just find really slow DnB songs or fast trance/breaks songs ? |

DJ Z-Trip. I have sets from him in which he will play Mos Def, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, and a whole slew of breakbeat tracks. Most anything you can imagine, so check him out. DJ P also does a good job of that.
Disclaimer: This isn't necessarilly dance music, I guess, but it's pretty much everything. Z-Trip has played house in his sets before. |

Like tt said, Marco V slips seamlessly from trance through techno.
Paul van Dyk tried an excursion into dirty techno in the middle of his Columbiahalle Essential Mix, and does this from time to time in other sets too. Nothing like Marco's skill, but I think he pulls it off pretty well.
On the other hand, Tiesto's tech-trance mixing experiments have been on the "disaster" side of things. |
