And trance comes from Euro-Dance anyway, and in a lot of cases the line is really blurred.
Please don't stir this up again.

lasgo ain't bad...walk on water jesus is good, but that's their only good song "IMO". G&D have produce and remix plenty of awesome songs. I think about 90% TA will agree, the other 10 are minority and "unique". |

The AMERICAN "mass" consider euro vocal dance trance = dance
and many don't know what the genre "trance" is.
my "r&b" radio station plays walk on water, and many listener
would call up requesting that "dance" song.
Lasgo to me is similar Ace of Base/ real mccoy but more like Sylver....in that they use smoother trance melody where as AceBase slide more to harder dance beat. But 2 the AMERICAN, its all the same. They don't distinguish this. |

WOW. If they put him to sleep, why is that any of your business? It's called an "opinion". Personally I like G&D's stuff, but that's just me and not everybody has to like the same things as yourself. The internet is a virtual world, if you can't handle opposing views from your own displayed on a computer monitor, then my advice is, don't use it. |

Lasgo?!?! LOL. Aight, I respect your taste and everything, but come on, thats not even trance.. sucks that artists like that are made to be involved into the name TRANCE because companies are using it all for the money.
IM sorry but that lasgo is played on the radio 60 times an hour.. makes me hate it so much!!!
And really, Id like to know how much time you've been digging trance, cause really, for you to say that Tiesto, armin, and gabriel and dresden put you to sleep or basically you dont like them.. arrrgghh.. to me its like, you need more time.

I've been listening to Trance for almost 3 years.
And the funny thing is, I started with what you'd call "deep" epic trance (M.I.K.E., Armin, Tiesto, etc.)
Now I can't stand it. My love is now Euro-NRG-Trance like in Germany. That's the style I write my own tracks in, too. |

I'm sorry but there is simply no comparison between "lasgo" which is vocalized e and say U2 - New Years Day 2000 (ferry corsten less vocal extended dub):eyes: which is hands-in-the-ing-air (epic) trance (i just happened to pick that track cos i was listening to it ^^).
I guess YMMV but i pitty those who think lasgo = anything remotely close to epic/uplifting trance. It's "pop" trance at best, no better than dj sammy - heaven and the likes...:nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

I don't understand why you guys are so stuck with some dj's.I mean i've heard so many times that PVD is god or Tiesto.Surely Lethal Industry is good or For An Angel from PVD but these are old stuff,we can't stay in these days.Nowadays i've heard Traffic from Tiesto,didn't like it at all,no f*cking way it doesn't have even some sort of melody.Tiesto was good back in the past surely but his latest tracks aren't good (Tiesto's remix in Kane - Rain Down On Me also didn't like it).Then comes PVD with his Nothing But You.Nice track but not the best track i've heard from some people.Or what can i say about Armin,i din't like at all Sunburn or Song Of The Ocean but i adore Yet Another Day.All in all,some tracks are good and some aren't.I am a fan of CJ Stone but his remix in Y-Traxx - Mysteryland is a sh*t and as for Voodoo&Serano their remix in CJ Stone-Don't Look Back is a crap.In the end yes some dj's are good,some are better than others but there are up and downs.I like some tracks from Lasgo,hell even from Milk Inc i like some tracks but i like and tracks from Cosmic Gate (The Wave),Armin,G&D,CJ Stone,Dumonde,RMB etc.What i want from a track??Well first of all to have an outstanding melody,then comes the beat and if there are some good vocals i don't mind.
In the end it all comes down to personal taste and we should love the music and the tracks....not the dj's for some of their tracks (some will say if you don't love the dj's you won't get these tracks,well ok,love them but not stuck :D ).As for not liking Lasgo......what can you say about Benny's - Satisfaction (which sucks for me :p) |
