If it wasn`t for Lasgo, Ian Van Dahl , I wouldn t be discovering the trance music scene. I now listen to PvD , Tiesto, Cattaneo And AvB. People should not say that Lasgo is bad for the industry because it did reel me into the better part of the underground industry.

Have a nice day all.

this is stupid, its clearly a newbie with bad taste argument vs non newbies with better taste

most ta's in training come in here and realize that what they listen to is pretty bad and go on to better stuff

You know what? I love all kinds of electronic music: Trance,House, Hardcore, Hardstyle,Breakbeat,Techno.
But i do like Lasgo ,Milk Inc and Ian Van Dahl.

And i'd rather hear Lasgo 12234 times then Fiti cent or Nelly

Wow interesting thread... all I can say is, as time progresses and people become further engaged into the electronic music scene, tastes tend to mature. Producers like IvD and Lasgo don't seem to appeal to those more mature tastes (at least in my opinion). Granted, a few tracks will sound good from some typical "cheese" producers and some tracks from typically good producers will sound crappy, but that's the whole name of the game. Nobody said you have to like everything...

For those IvD fans, I found guys like Lange and Oceanlab to bring an awesome sound of more "cheese-free" trance and still using strong vocals. Give these guys a try

Haha. I totally agree with you there. DJ Encore feat. Engelina has some special memories for me. ;)

As for the topic at hand. I agree that people who listen to "cheese" such as Ian van Dahl, Lasgo, DJ Sammy, etc. are just in the process of discovering what EDM is all about. At first they think that this stuff is where it's at... then give them an ISOS CD or GU or something, and they'll never look back.

As for Lasgo - Surrender. Well, I think that it's boring and predictable, has very little to offer in the way of musicality, and has too much vocals.
