Sounds nice...I don't really care what style it is, as long as it'll be remixed into several subgenres so as many DJ's as myself can play it in their sets...
So, if there'll be a progressive, tech and/or hardtrance remix of it, then I'll definitely use it my sets!
Unfortunately I'm no Marco V, nor Picotto or Flutlicht, so I'm leaving the producing part to you guys who are somewhat more into that stuff...and then I'll yake care of the mixing behind the decks :) |

I would like to compet, not this month though, i have lots of exams.
I can try to make something simple :), i cant promise something OMG-I-WANT-TO-DIE thing, but i'll do my best. |

Great idea, I say we do that. Maybe the best three tracks could be combined (somehow) by the people who made them to form a single 'super-track'. A track so good and awe-inspiring that no remix ever need be made of it, and every DJ around the world would play it just because it is the best song in the world, and everybody liked it.
Only a track of this magnitude could be considered the TA Anthem. Any takers?... |

that just wouldn't work.. any way you do it could never be perfect. though a colaboration would be nice for it, instead of a solo work.
what about this idea.. producers would apply for it.. then we'd just make a votation with the producers' names.. and at the end pick the 2 most voted, for making together the TA anthem.
though perhaps the easiest way is the idea that's been given before, people make their tracks then we vote for them. |

i don't think that'll work
what if those two producers work with different gear? suppose the outcome is icone & bren-f.. icone uses fruityloops and bren reason.. it would be very hard..
i think there are 3 possibilities:
1. people nominate producers and then the one with most votes works out the track
2. somebody writes a melody and everybody who wishes makes a track with it.. then people here vote for the version they think is best
3. everybody who wishes produces a track, and afterwards people here can vote for the best track |

I think this should be done in two seperate stages...
Firstly, main melodies should be created by the TA's. As this is an "anthem" it's important to have a distincive melody. The TA's can choose their favourite.
Once one melody is selected TA's can make a track with this melody. A Remix Competition style contest can take place to decide the best version of the track with the chosen melody.
Also agree about the anonymity point. |
