| a track is not just the melody, a track is the whole sounds, breaks and anything, if we'll base on the melody the track will be somewhat boring... but do it however u want... i still think remixes should be made for each style... |

Of course. But having just the melody to remix is ideal because you CAN use it in any way you want, add your own sounds, breaks etc. |

indeed
besides, the idea was to create a tranceaddict anthem, which means it has to be something that everybody recognises and associates with tranceaddict.com
and the best way to do that is starting with a melody |

Great points!
This is an excellent idea, but it's going to be very difficult to get concensus on a single melody.
Nevertheless, this should get started pronto! |

agreed.. its going to be hard to get a melody everyone likes due to differences in taste, and its very hard to tell how well a melody works without the rest of a tune behind it :) |

| If were all agreed on how it should proceed, then it should be done as a remix comp in the amatuar forum as tor said. However, we need to wait a week or 2 until the current one is finnished/judged/mises are up... |
