Here's my testament to boredom with Cobalt. Here's my list of Top 30 "trance-labeled" songs that shouldn't even be considered trance artists. I respect and love some of these songs, but these songs should be labeled in a different category, such as "pop trance" or "trance for radio edit". I know some songs you don't hear at a trance-driven rave or party, but they are added to trance album collections for some strange reason.
30 Noemi - Y.O.U.
29 Kay Cee - Escape (original mix)
28 Dj Jean - The Launch
27 Noemi - Leave Me Alone
26 Dee Dee - The One
25 Milk Inc - Breathe Without You
24 Milk Inc - Land of the Living
23 Love Inc - Broken Bones
22 Danni Minogue - Who do you love now? (considered trance all because she collaberated with Riva and used the song "Stringer")
21 PPK - Resurrection
20 Fragma - Toca Me
19 Madelyne - Beautiful Child
18 Foggy - Come Into My Dream
17 Antiloop - In my Mind
16 Kate Ryan - Scream For more
15 Rui da Silva - Touch me (no matter how may times someone remixes this, this will always be considered a "pop" song)
14 Noemi - In my dreams
13 Marc et Claude - Tremble
12 Hannah - Blinded
11 Freestylers - Don't stop
10 Darude ft Tammi Lynn - Out of Control (Back for more)
9 Lange - Drifting Away
8 Dee Dee - Forever
7 DJ Sammy - Heaven
6 Sylver - Turn the Tide
5 Lasgo - Something
4 La Rissa - I do Jay and Jane
3 Gigi D'Agostino - I'll fly away (L'amour Toujours)
2 Selena Paris - Look at Me Now
1 Alice Deejay - Back In My Life
*** Feel free to criticize or make your own personal list. But can anyone deny the fact that Alice Deejay is #1 in this list? |

1 Alice Deejay - Back In My Life
*** Feel free to criticize or make your own personal list. But can anyone deny the fact that Alice Deejay is #1 in this list? | at least he only put dj sammy at no. 7:stongue: :stongue: :stongue: . You'll soon find all the music you listed there is rather... offending to the crowd of trancers/progheads that are resident at this board, with very good reason.
This is evidenced perfectly by AndskiSpeed's all too encompassing "die". If you really like that music and can settle for its inane lyrics, general lack of depth and overly high-energy synths then i suggest that you be directed to di.fm boards, i hear the crowds a real -take over there.
"... You take the red pill - you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes. " Would be the alternative of course. Not to paint progressive and trance with a broadly undeserved brush but for the most part it tends to coerce ones musical taste buds into a state of temporal euphoric bliss much easier. :D :D
The option they left out of the matrix (im afraid with very good reason) is also very viable, you could take the pill named stamped with "insert trendy logos here", start wearing neon glow jewelery, and parading around with pants big enough to be used as a parachute during a skydive.:haha: :haha: :haha:...
So what will it be?
my top 5
Grayarea - One for the road (g&d mix)
Greed - Strange World (lemon8 mix)
Avril Lavigne - I'm with you (leama and moor dub or remix)
Sasha vs Underworld - Cowpander (JXL bootleg)
Sasha - Wavy Gravy

You're one to talk.. may i reference the viewing audience to
http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...th&pagenumber=4 about 6 posts down by DJ dingel, the original source of the quote has been lost in a flurry of edits i surmise but I can assure you that it is indeed authentic. So what's worse, somebody who like cheesy music, or somebody who likes music they've never heard?
I'll answer that, you die, my friend... |

If you guys bothered to read the thread you would have noticed that he wasnt actually calling this stuff trane, but rather cheese. However even if he was calling it trance you all need to grow up and or get a life. |
