oh you mean people like james and such? my idea was actually targetted more on the 'normal' crap discussions we have in chill out. then again its just my opinion that the topics in chill out are pathetic. not all of you will agree and i understand.
as for james and co. i have no idea what to do....
ban IP? ban email? =P |

YEah i meant spammers.....thought you meant that to.....Better just keep chillout...so they have a playground....is it possible to ban IPs? |

i can understand why paul_grifith and simcut left.
TA used to be my favorite site. things changed here. its hard to explain but its not the same atmosphere like it used to be...
things got so bad that sometimes when ppl wants certain tracks i upload those tracks to a locker but im afraid post the locker details in the furom b/c some ppls are deliberately go to those locker and dont sign out so i start sending lots of PM's with the locker's details... :sadgreen:
i also think we need more moderators (at least 2-3 more).
blik and Henkie_hank doing a great job but they need help.
miss P , mindshooter , jayD , wicked red/and neon , paul , sugarbeen and im sure lots of others will be great mods...
plz save this furoms from going the wrong way. :( |

Right now i have admin options on Music discussion but i dont know if im allowed to use them.....Since swamper havent told me to......But ive seen alot stuff that could be done by a moderator.......i want to know if i can get authorization to move and close threads..... |

hmmm....
an idea swamper posted in the chat not long ago!!...
open a new speciel section for newbies where they can post.. and have all the "older" TA's in another section.... now, after one of the moderators sees that the TA is mature enough to move to the "older" group... they move him.. but the younger TA's can still view the older TA's messages, but they cant reply
i think this is a KILLER idea.. |

wow what an idea!!! hope this one goes through but there may be some troubles with this one too. choosing the members might be a hassle atleast to begin with. it should be easier once the first screening process is done.
the second problem is like the post count thing. just like in every other forum you'll have some people feeling like they're so elite because of the massive post count they have and they always seem to use that to back up whatever they say in the forums. granted this kinda don't really happen here as often as other places that i've seen, but i have seen it here in TA. in other words, would we have these 'special' members picking on newbies just because they are in the higher ranked group so to speak? would they actually feel more superior to others because of these types of status? who knows...guess we'll have to try and see for ourselves...but thats just my little concern with this idea. =P
btw who the hell is DJ pete??
don't ever recall seeing him spam the forums before.....
