| Yes it would be considered a crime. If you threw your at someone on the street you would probably be charged with aggravated assault. At any rate this guy's a moron for throwing in a texas (it has that 3 strikes rule doesn't it?) and then choosing to take a texas jury haha. |

| Thats absolutelly ridiculous. People who commit murder rarelly get sentences that long. The idea of the sentence reflecting the crime seems completelly out the window in the states at this point. This reminds me of a case where an 18 year old sold an ounce of pot and got 20 years in jail for it. It was his first offence. You think that a country would realize it has a problem when a fifth of its people are in Jail. |

did you read all the other he'd been convicted of? i'm sure that was taken into consideration at his trial.
i'm not defending 50 years for throwing though. messing with texas cops is a dirty business (no pun intended hehe :D )
but based on this guys past convictions, i wouldn't want him out on the streets. |
