i dont know about this argument. yes, its a music discusison forum. but obviously, the person that started this post and called pvd their god in the subject was not intending to ask people if they thought their opinion was valid! i think it was more a statement about their own (new?) taste, probably to share with other people that appreciate the same artist.
to the person that started the thread, don't call him a God... he's a man. in our opinions, he is THE man :toocool: i am definitely taking myself off the subscription this thread, but before i do that.....

yes u have your own opinions. but i have to say this garbage you have said about pvd makes you the one who is clueless. whether or not you like his music or his style or any of this is a different story. you dont have to like him. but your claim that he does not know what he is doing, that he spins records randomly etc etc definitely is the biggest pile of horse i have heard in my life. u dont have to appreciate him if u dont want to, but to outright say like that which is not remotely true is quite pathetic. i think those people that don't like him even know better than to say like because it just has no validity. we have tons of recorded sets out there to prove you wrong in your accusations. your disliking can stay. your accusations can go back to your ASS where they came from.

pvd is soo cheese. omg like 3 years ago when i first saw him live he rocked. 2nd time lame. 3rd time commercial. in 1 month, who knows - maybe i'll throw rotten tomatoes at him.

I don't hate PVD ... I just see no difference
between a program that plays random trance MP3's
and some of PVD's most acclaimed sets.
Sorry if this bugs people ... to each their own. |

I went to see PvD in Central Park without taking any . I was experiencing "pure pvd" - the experience was even better than wasted.. I was actually able to enjoy the music itself and the atmosphere was just beyond belief- so full of energy... on the other hand, DICKWEED puts me to sleep every time. I just heard his set from Kiss FM - what a fukcing bore!!!!! is he spinning trash-disco circa 1970? What a tit...
I respect all styles of EM, as long as it invokes emotion... the only emotion Digweed invokes is apathy, boredom, nausia...
but I guess with your head so fuqed on prog, you probably won't get it anyway. |
