| I read the thread now, it scares me.. why are so many of you so hostile. You should really accept each otherīs opinion. It's natural that everyone dont feel the same about this guy, so stop this lame flaming, doesn't gain anyone. Many of you need to mature a bit before expressing yourself in here. But this is just my opinion.. |

A good point there Chjo.
What makes me wonder is the fact that some people are writing as if they still attend grade school. Given the perceived age of some of the posters here you would have to wonder if they are old enough to go clubbing, and thus are they in a position to actually comment how good a club DJ actually is in the first place?
Thankfully not all TA forums end up like this one. It only seems to get out of hand when people express an opinion. Which is fine as some people seem to be able to express a different one very well... but then you have people who have nothing to say...
"Better to keep quiet and look stupid than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" isn't that right Special K?

| i think paul van dyk is good; i dont think hes god... but i have to admit his djing is godly; i just want him to play other genres; progressive pleez! :tongue2 .... but then again he wouldnt be pvd... so i'm totally contradicting myself :)... i have to admit he is a very very very good dj, i dont like him that much though, dont know why; i dont really like the track selection; it sounds a bit too mainstream for me... i like to go with sasha on the playlisting ^_^ |

I hear ya, little buddy.
You enjoy PVD's work ...however, myself I think
he sux0rs.
Listening to PVD's sets, it's clear he's clueless
about what is a good tune, and about mixing a
comprehensive, coherent set of 60 minutes.
It's like he has a bag of records...and spins one
after another, with no thought between the tunes.
It's tedious to listen ... after 10 minutes,
it's hard not to press the "STOP" button and stop
this irritating artist. |

You obviously don't like PvD, your loss.
A little tip to you. When u see a thread about.. for exampel "Paul van Dyk Is My New God" (like this one) Stay the hell out of it, you are a minority, saying that PvD has bad taste and no thougt to his plays, is quite stupied. The majority of the Trance-listening ppl do enjoy and in many cases do love his work. It's easier to play with great variation if you don't perform so damn often.. PvD do know what he's doing, he's not come this fare by accident.
Just think it's a little lack of fantasy and bad manners bouncing in and saying he's a bad artist just because you happens not to like him..
You dig it "little buddy" ??
