Liquified has been pure prog/nubreed for almost 2 years now and they snatched Armin and Ferry and stuck them on weekdays. I only have so much vacation time and they're making me take it all |
Don't know if I agree on what u said. Devin has made a lot of effort bringing talented DJs to Atlanta. I think we should be greatful because we are getting Armin, Ferry, Scott Bond in Atlanta. I never thought they would make it here. If he stuck these DJs on a weekend, the ticket price would probably be $30+ and the dancefloor would be so pack that u can't even dance (cuz of the regulars). |

I know my facts thanks
and didn't want to get into a flame war with anybody over TA, so I'll only make 1 post. I respect Swamper and I try to respect everybody's opinions. I only like trance. it's not closed minded, it's an opinion which I'm not alone in. Same goes for my opinions on liquifed and their parties and the fact that Devin is an elitist who treats people like crap that aren't doing something for him.
Don't worry, whatever my feelings on the promoter I love Armin and I'll definitely be at the show... Liquified will have my money which is the most important part, right? |

it appears that Armin won't be stopping in Miami on this tour.... his dates have been announced and miami isnt on there... maybe it's still to come, but so far.... nada.....
anyhooo i'm happy because Oct 15th is Armin in atlanta and then exactly a month later Armin @ glow, where i will turn 20 while armin's spinning there!! YAYYYY |

liquified, if you're still reading this thread, why did you feel the need to justify yourself so much to somebody you don't even know? :P
I'm a big boy about being wrong and I'll go ahead and say I shouldn't have directly attacked Devin... I've never met him in real life and shouldn't have called him an . I could have been been way more professional in disagreeing with his... style of promoting I guess you'd call it. It's just getting annoying all the good DJs coming on weekdays, plus it breaks my heart that I won't be able to broadcast any of the shows now since you're against that or whatever.
All those parties you mentioned? been to most of then (the ones I wanted to anyway) and everybody I know much preferred the parties Mirage used to throw. Maybe you had something to do with Mirage in which case I'll take back all that bad stuff I said, but I've lived in Atlata 14 years (this time) and I've only been to about 5 decent liquified shows. prove me wrong. have a party on a WEEKEND for once that's not a house/progressive/nubreed show.
oh and get your genres right it's "progressive" that's the unclear genre that every DJ who can beatmatch claims to be. Trance & energy are alive and well and very clearly defined.
btw do appreciate you bringing Scott Bond.. he's really good and I've been a big fan of his for a while.
can't go because it's a weeknight thanks.. but don't worry you'll get enough money out of me for Ferry and Armin.
on a serious note, I was impressed by the $10 presale tickets for Armin. Whoever commented on that earlier was totally right I was completely expecting the standard $20 or more. $10 is unheard of for Armin and that's impressive. credit where credit's due man.
anyway, very much look forward to meeting the TA's and all the other Armin lovers at the show. :cool: |
