Oh dear me! Whats wrong with you people?!! "Low on plot"? I've seen the film three times and there's still a ton of unanswered questions! That films got the deepest storyline ever - I just hope that they dont ruin it by giving some lame-ass explanaition for it all in the third one.
I think Neo is the Matrix. Well, I think the matrix is directly linked to his mind (that's why he is "The One"). Reasons:
** The Architect said that the first ever matrix was a perfect world, but the human psyche couldn't handle it and everyone's brain started rejecting it.
** The Oracle was written to find out what makes the human mind tick.
** She decided that people needed a choice, and that there had to be a random element of chance to the world.
** Computers cant generate random numbers of their own accord, the only thing that can truley do that is the human brain.
** So a human being was chosen and that mind kind of acts like a server to other humans minds. It 'hosts' the Matrix, which is why Neo could control the machines at the end of reloaded: coz he's directly linked to the machine mainframe.
I could go off on one explaing everything, but dammit i'm too lazy.

could he host my website along with a few mp3s and livesets for me? i'm sure that wouldn't be difficult for him to handle since he can handle billions of people.
