| ok my birthday is on august 31 which is this sunday, and im working on my birthday. i asked them if i can get a day off so i can go see ferry corsten at labour of love, but they didnt give me a day off. im thinking of calling in sick on the saturday evening to tell them i cant come in on sunday, if anyone has other good plans please let me know asap, thanks. :) :) |

the trick is, dont ask if you can have a day off, just call in sick. but it is too late for that now =), hehe |

i work at fukn mcdonalds, my position is a manager, im only working for another year until i dont get a flight instructor/ pilot job.
they're fukn stupid, and isnt it a long weekend this sunday? |

LOL take it off now...cuz you certainly won't get any time off flight instructing...oh and you'll make 1/2 as much money then....
Believe me...I was there, but it pays off in the phuture...bwhahaha

Dont you think they'll find it a bit suspicious that u call in sick the same day u asked for a day-off?? Dude, any idiot would make the connection.. u'll only get a bad reputation acting this way...
Is there any way u can switch shift with somebody else? |

how old are you? just call in sick or try to trade shifts w/ someone. r u that in dire need of money or can you live w/o it for 2 weeks until you find another job? what is your record at work? like have you called in sick a lot? do they have any other reasons to fire you? |
