"27-08 is a black day for all hardcore lovers and true dedicated people in the HC-scene. Because this afternoon about 14:15 a legend died after 4 long years of sickness.
Peter Paul Pigmans a.k.a 3 Steps Ahead is no more...There are no words to describe what a real "gabber" feeling he always gave the people.

The man was a Legend, not only his music, but also his prefrormance and attitude in the Hardcore Scene. At the time when there were lots of football riots between the dutch clubs Ajax and Feyenoord, he took a piss at all the football holligans by wearing a shirt which had Ajax on the front and Feyenoord on the back on one of his preformances.

Although I've grown out of the scene now, hardcore gabber was one of my first entries into the world of electronic music. 3 Steps Ahead's productions were awesome - "Hakkuh" and "Drop It" being my favourites.

gabbers love? i think you are in the wrong world. the original meaning of gabber (indian = friend) has nothing to do with reality. in austria gabbers are rude, aggressive skinheads annoying everyone. so i have nothing left for this music scene - but it is always sad if someone dies.

rude gabbers arent real gabbers, they are skinheads who dress the same and only listen to gabbermusic and goes to partys only to fight they call them self 'gabbers' but they aren't
there arent much real gabbers left, but i went to a happyhardcore reunion party with the party animals a week ago and i met some real ones |
