It's plastic boy but it's not important who made it to me. It's not a bad tune to me, if you think it is, that's your own thing. Don't expect me to change my opinion because it's unpopular. I am not like that |

stop respecting this guy so much!!! (1# Producer TA).
I see he decided to stop making 120234 remixes that sound the same and start doing the thing that I hate the most : adding vocals to a track... ! if the song was based on the vocals from the begining I'd say its ok but if you add vocals to a good track (which IMO is not even close to silverbath and its preety blah) its only for $$$ , who needs this crap.
Now that's commercializing (altho every track made by anyone and gets released is also commercialize) .
Alot of pplz do this and I'd might do it aswell but still - this guy get so much repsect when is main interst is to make more money and less quality to use, and a perpect exmple is this vocal version...

Ok maybe he didn't make that vocal version but :
| quote: | First of all, the - crappy - version you heard on that radioshow is NOT a genuine version! Rosalla made vocals to fit the tune, but the people at Inferno Records messed with it without Mike and BMG agreeing. So you're allowed to say that that vocal version sucks, Mike agrees with that, and most important, he had nothing to do with creating it!
However, Mike did use the vocals Rosalla made for Live Another Life, but he made sure they fit into the track, not at all like Inferno's child's play! The reason for that is acceptable: Rosalla is still a big icon, so Mike considered it an honour that she wrote lyrics for a tune of his. And, maybe the most important part, Vocal Trance sells nowadays, and even an artist like Mike has to grab every possible opportunity to make money. So the vocal version has a commercial side, but Mike felt it was worth a try, and putting excellent vocals on an excellent tune, who could disagree with him? |
Now guys that's commercializing
and it doesn't metter who made the vocals
I think that if you add vocals to a track that is already finished , released and successful is commercializing , so stop denying it |

The main complaint about adding vocals to tracks that were without vocals in the first place is that they usually sound and are poorly done. However, we haven't heard the proper vocal version yet, so we really can't start to rant about bad vocals or not. I didn't see anyone complaning when vocals were added to Cass & Slide - Perception. Why? Cos they were good. And until we have heard the proper vocal version, we should really keep our mouths shut.
Yes, this is commercialization of a track, granted. But who cares about that if it sounds good? |
