if you're not gonna acccept the fact that everyone has different tastes/opinions on music...then get the off these boards...not everyone is gonna like the same track...we don't need tards like you ruining these boards by flaming others who's oopinions dont coincide with you...i also happen to think ATRC is overrated because it's overplayed by all the DJs and 90 percent of TAs go OMFG over it when i don't even think its that great of a track

Quality and Originality? Yep. Pop? Nah. Sure it's been played quite a few times by tons of top notch DJs, but definately not pop IMO
If your looking for pop go for DJ Sammy and Scooter:whip:
I dont think As The Rush Comes is over rated. I still like this song and I'm not going to be one of those peeps who say a song becomes pop and over rated because it's been played on the radio or because it's been dropped on every summer album or liveset. I think it's great that a quality track is being put out there rather than an Ian Van Dahl track or something like that. just my 2 cents. |

| Even though Raver31 might be getting too upset over this whole issue, I see his point. I've read through the entire thread, and it seems that every single big tune of the summer has been repeatedly labeled as "Overrated", which is total BS. Songs get played out for a reason, and I bet if some of you actually went to clubs/parties and took the opportunity to hear a great DJ drop any of these, you would realize that most of these songs are anything but overrated. |

The first time I heard As The Rush Comes (Sweeping Strings Mix), I thought it was alright. Not deservant IMHO of all the OMG OMFG quotes I kept seeing. It comes down to taste as always, I don't like the singers voice that much, and the melody (to me) was kind of bland. That being said though, I do love the AVB remix.
Another Track that has gotten all the OMG OMFG etc.. and I feel not deservedly so is the Photon Project Remix of Andain - Beautiful Things. The Vocals IMHO pretty blatantly do not match the tune they, (what seems like) have been slapped over.
JMO though ;):). |
