New to Trance

| Hey, I discovered trance a little over 2 months ago (I usually listen to rock) And well I really like it because I'm usually a metal head but the genre is so violent and it seems to me that all trance listeners want to do is have a good time and that really attracted me to the music. Well anyway, I've been listening to some trance (PvD, Nu Nrg, 4 Strings...) And I've realized I know nothing about it, can someone please tell me stuff that I should know about trance? Sry for the newbie question... |

Weeei, welcome to this exelent forum then.
Sound Minister should behave.. if you don't have something to add just keep quiet.

| Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help, and to Sound Minister I'm not a poser trust me, music is my life and whenever I like something I want to dive into it, the only thing is trance seems so vast that its kind of hard to figure out where to start... |

He wants to know what other artists there are, genres of trance, more ABOUT it. That's like me going into a metal board and asking questions about their type of music and getting the answer "Go and listen to the music." when they don't KNOW what to listen to because they are just getting into it and want to know more. If wanting to know more about a specific genre of music is being a poser then we are ALL guitly of it because none of us knows EVERYTHING about trance, to think like that is complete arrogance. Relax man!
