<-- used to smoke heavy a few years back...haven't touched the stuff in years...not my type of drug(plus a bad experience)...
tho i hang around with friends who dope allll the time...people offer me the odd spliff at clubs, here and there, and when i refuse they look at me like wtf is wrong with you...lol
drugs are drugs...also depends on what type of personality you have and what works for you and what doesnt...tho not everybody is mature enough to learn that...
its quite simple actually..you f... with drugs, they'll f... you right back!

Well what about cigarets, they are more addictive than weed and kill more people a year than weed. And it's legal, you could say the same thing for alcohol. Alcohol has ruined a lot of families and kills a loads of people every year. But no both are considered to be good taxable drugs, from which the government makes loads of money...
But regardless, if you have less than 15grams on you nowdays... it does not even matter no more...You don't get a criminal record. I mean it's still considered illegal to smoke it, but possesion of less than 15g is technically not illegal anylonger, and apparently for possesion of less than 15g you just get a fine... all because of the case decision out in British Columbia (I think it was B.C. but not 100% sure) this summer.....

Coffee and Tobacco are big business and as Trancearmada has pointed out, big government cash cows.
I've been around it all my life and see it used mostly as a crutch, much like alcohol; cept alcohol does far more damage...
It's amazing how much damage "Reefer Madness" has caused...
(and how much mis-information there is).
I don't smoke it myself just because it's not a novelty for me but I have been known to have a toke now and again...
But the biggest reason is my wife is hyper-sensitive to narcotics... |

Well, of course alcohol and tobacco kill way more people than weed. Not nearly as many people smoke weed! You can say all you want about how weed is not as bad as tobacco or alcohol, but the fact of the matter is - weed hasn't been researched nearly as much as tobacco or alcohol.
IMHO smoking weed all the time does make you slower and stupider. I've known a few people who've been smoking all the time(once,twice a day) and they are really slow. Their short-term memory is ed ! Cigarretes on the other hand - well, at least they don't up your brain.
Having said that, everything is ok in moderation. The problem with drugs is that few people only do them once, and as soon as you start doign it - how do you know if you are doing it in moderation or not ?? Another problem is that you don't notice the side effects immediately. I've done my share of pills, there are no side effects yet, but who the hell knows how am I going to be 30 years from now.. |

That's just not true. There has been plenty of research on grass and thc, but most of it was done in the 60's and 70's; here in the US, getting grass from the government for research is nearly impossible. It's one thing for everyone to know the truth in theory, it's a whole new can of beans when it becomes fact.
The government in the US is just absurd. They absolutely refuse to admit that they made a mistake in classifing grass in the same category as coke and heroin, so the charade continue's, until one of our states finally gets the balls to legalize it. I think after the first falls, the domino effect will ensue, god only knows when that will be though.
If they were smart, they'd legalize it and fund the countries public school's via grass taxes, but no one ever said the US was smart, just strong. |

Shrooms are not hard.....they are comaparable to weed becauase they grow naturally.
Hard drugs are synthetic. They are fabricated in labratories (or basements).

| Like said in the original post, I am not physically addicted to weed...but mentally I am. I love the chilled out feeling I get from it. Pretty much smoke it everyday, or whenever I can. Somedays between school and work I might not have time which doesnt bother me. I don't think about smoking it when I'm not or I can't. But whenever the oppurtunity is there I will always smoke it because its just too damn good. A lot of people like to come home and have a beer or two or possibly a drink or whatever. Well I like to come home after a long day and smoke a joint, thats about it. |

Can I just interrupt and say red bulls are a drug.
I had three fed to me on Saturday night at Film and I was awake until 10pm Sunday night. That's more than 36 ing hours awake on one ephedrine, and three red bulls. No E, no coke, nothing like that...ing red bull and ephedrine.
what the .
I smoked every last bit of weed we had and ate a gravol to be able to sleep.
Did I somehow do crystal by accident?!?!?! :wtf: |
