I have a question. I live in Texas. And trance here is... . No one here will openly listen to it. They call it "Dolphin Music". Basically, everyone here would rather listen to boring progressive house or Drum n Bass.
My question: Does it ever get better? I figure you can answer the question, since the UK is like 5 years ahead of America, Scene wise :)

lol, true.
but trippennuts. in my opinion, trance as a whole is very very mundane and boring now, if your statment is true about you being 5 years behind us, then in 2.5 - 3 years time, buckle up for sum hot trance. but as for now id sooner talk to my ashtray, than listen to it.
a thought of mine.... if trance isnt doing it for you, why not move onto sumthing a little harder, sumthing anot too far away from what you listen to now, but a little bit harder edged, hell!... hoo knows, you miht even like it ;) |

well judging by mine and your comments, what does this tell you?
... trance as we know is passed it sell by date. it needs to evolve again. trance 2 years ago was so energetic, but its so mundane now. too floaty and all tracks sound like theyre missing a vital piece of equiment..... the machine that makes the track kicks ass and full of life. |

I think you guys misunderstood. I as a person, still love trance. However, the state of TEXAS does not. They like it, they are just too stuck up to admit it. So they go with everyone else and listen to DNB and .
