YEs it was definatly a night to remember!
Dumonde are a great bunchof guys i even got to shake thier hands! lol doesn't sound like much but it made the night extra special!
Finnally time to burn i got out and we partied hard! Yeah the hd associates were loud and proud that night! I'm finnally posting yeah happy now!
Even though i'm new i met a ton of TAs that night! Desidel it was nice meeting you but i think we both understood that we can't chat it up when you have such crazy beats coming from two crazy germans!
All in all it was an amazing experience i'm glad i was there even if was for only an hour and a half! |

I would also like to add that I had an amazing night too. It was so cool seeing all the TAs even in the first line up waiting to get in and lend support to our TA DJs. And inside the club, the entire front area was filled with TAs, it was like a VIP area! Thanks to all for coming out and thanks to TR for bringing such great DJs to town.
I imagined them a lot smaller than they were. Those guys were giants! They were also very friendly even if they didn't speak English too well.
The whole night was amazing and can't wait for what TR is holding up their sleeve for the next time. |

Scheiße! Scheiße! Scheiße!
This was a good party (one of the best in the last few years). I felt like I was at some of the parties I went to back in the late 90s. The vibe was electric and the music was exquisite. Classic tracks were utterly amazing. DuMonde did a bang-up job! Thanks to TR, Viva and DuMonde for making it possible. Honestly I don't think anything could have been done to make it better.
Greets to all the beautiful people (TOTAs) who came out to make the night great! |

its been too long since Ive been on a computer
IM IN WITHDRAWL!!!
DUMONDE ROCKED!
wow...after LoL of sunday, I was really disapointed in the TO scene. Theres more vibe and energy in an empty room in Calgary than in Guv/Kool Haus on Sunday...I thought that was about to be the norm for my next 3 years of partying...then I get to Viva
First off, I thought it would have been alot bigger(wow..PvD in there would have been crazy, almost dangerous maybe) BUT the club is IDEAL!!! maybe a lil bigger in the 19+ area but otherwise flawless. great lights, great sound, I thought it was plenty ventilated, dance floor is good, dj booth is good location...just a GREAT CLUB!!!!
Im a bit late w/ my review, so ill stick to the basics
Mobius---that first track intruder...wow..never heard it before, its killer!!!!
everybody played good opening sets..kept the energy high enough for Dumonde to kick it into high gear, but not too high to tire us out. Well done to all the openers.
DUMONDE BLEW ME AWAY! I hadnt expected them to be that good they just were amazing...too bad about the XLR/RCA mess up eh Del?.
They were so hard, so melodic, such a perfect perfect night!
THAT is what clubbing is supposed to be about. The TAs in there made for a great night.
It was perfect for me to party w/ all of you..and I think I know who you all are, but Im not sure, I met alot of ppl, and only remember 10 or so...so if I forget you, dont take offense, im meeting ppl in rez, and on TA, so theres about 150 new names for me to remember and its all a bit much.
REVIEW FOR NATALIE
it sucked, you didnt miss a damn thing. you probably had more fun @ seaman.
ok I lied, it was amazing...you missed out in a big way. you should have broken an arm ;), or something preventing you from flying...we(I) missed you!
so to Tara, Matt, Erika, Az, Margaret, Graham, Del, Rj, aww it, this is taking too long
to everybody I met, you are all great ppl, and made me feel at home. Thanks. It was nice(I felt loved)
I just might like Toronto after all
and a HUGE THANKS TO SPYDER! YOUR RIDE SAVED ME! THANK YOU!!!! <3 |

Ok so now that I'm back in the city, it's time for my full on and proppa review.
After being hungover from the previous night, I picked up Peter and Beh from Dundas West Station and the procedeed to pick up Pris from Don Mills station for the premeet at Frankie Tomatoes. You guys are more than welcome for the ride. I'm glad I could help you out. Pris I would have driven you the entire way home but you couldn't get your stuff out of Rays car, but next time.
I met a few new people at Frankies but didn't have a chance to really talk to anyone as we were a bit late, and then Eso had to be at Viva by 9:45 so I had to depart early. Sorry for not getting a chance to talk to everyone.
Got to the club while they still had the flourescents on. What a weird feeling. They didn't even have music on at that point. I got to watch the club fill up and progess through the evening.
Eso you were unbelievable. I know how nervous you were (remember the gum incident) but when you got into it you were fantastic. (11/10)
Mobius. What can I say, I think you blew everyone out of the water. Nobody expected that from you and it was just supreme. I want a copy of your demo. 11/10
Walter Rosati. His mixing was off in the beginning and I was disappointed with most of his track selection. He played a lot tunes that he spun when he opened for Edgar V. The remix of clocks got the crowd working though. 6/10
At some point around here as well, I feel asleep on the couch in the lisenced area for about 5 minutes.
Dumonde. Well I can say that I've never really heard of these guys before but I have now and holy facking , they were out of this world. What a hard and dirty set. There was so much energy in the music that the crowd was going wild the entire night. (15/10)
Some amazing tunage dropped although I'm not very good with naming them, I recognized alot of them. There was a song that I was listening to on the couch with Jenna and I believe she said it was called sticky dirty floors or something like that. We'll I can't find it so if someone knows anything about this, it would be appreciated. I might perhaps have the song wrong.
Anyway, this was one of the most exciting nights in a while, seeing I mised LoL. I think I'm going to cool off for a while until PVD (hopefully I'll be able to make it to that). Shoutouts to all the new TA's I met and all the regulars. Sorry I was so quiet that night, but my lack of energy was due to a long day, and an even longer night. I hate when I have no energy. Had it not been for Dumonde, I probably would have fallen asleep.
Beh, Rich, Az, Ray, Marg, Graham, Del, Ari, Emz, Christina, Rob, John, Peter, Carlos, Corrine, Mike, Jenna, Erika, Colin, Tara, Matt, Chris, Aaron, Steve, Carlos, Lauren, Tordan (sorry I keep forgetting your name), mpjohnson (hope you knee gets better), RJ, Mirza, Pris, Jason, Drewfactor, Liang, Maxtuh, Ola, Flec (I hope I haven't forgotten anybody and if I have, you have the right to kick my ass) |

What an incredable night!
The party started jumping right at 10:30 when ESO started with some wicked trance.
Then MOBIUS rocked the room with some dirty techno (thanks bro). Best I have ever heard from him. I know we will be seeing much more of Carlos in the future. "You're my boy, Blue!"
Walter played much, much better than at Egar V. Good job, but still too many top 20 tracks!
DuMonde....what can I say....
The truth of it is, that I never really even cared about DuMonde before this night. I was just there to see the TA DJs, but wholy ... DuMonde is unbelieveable! My love of melodic, banging trance is back at an all time high.
And last, but not least.....Mark Oliver continues to shine as one of the best djs I have ever heard. We are so lucky to have him in Toronto.
Big shouts to all the TAs rockin the place! It feels like everyone is getting closer in the past little while and it really makes parties better.
Sorry to Maxtuh about the ride....I just could't leave.
Thanks to Ari & Del for yet another top notch event!
Peace,

^^^^^^^I also love that track "dirty sticky floors"...I believe Walter Rosati dropped that. God, what a great tune. I remember hearing for the first time when Hernan Cattaneo dropped it at System. I remember asking nightcreature what the track name was and I thought he said "thirty six and four"...Glad I was a able to find out the proper name as I need that track BADLY.
Did Walter also drop Marco V - Simulator (Push remix)?? I could have sworn it. I love the electro sounding synths in that mix. |

"The best party we've been to since the UK in 2001" - DuMonde
"One of the highlights of the night came when I asked Dominik DeLeon at the end of his set what it was like playing in a new club (this being their Canadian debut) to which he replied: exciting and that there was so much energy in the building that it reminded him of Gatecrasher UK .. WTF !!" - Desidel on tribe
Hopefully that will answer your question about them wanting to come back!
