| Scooter's not my cup of tea. And I don't use that as an excuse to say "Scooter sucks more than a hoover" or "I hope Scooter will die a horrible death." I personally don't like Scooter's music, plain and simple. |

If it weren't for Scooter back in 1996, I'd still be listening to hip-hop now.
Oh, and I still like the following tracks:
Scooter - Forever (Keep Me Running)
Scooter - She Said
Scooter - Return of the Future
Too bad they haven't done much ever since... |

Yes, I hate Scooter.
I consider stuff like "Weekend", "Ramp (The Logical Song)", "Nessaja" etc. to be some of the worst electronic music in existance. Not only because I strongly dislike high pitched squeaky vocals, but the synths used in the tracks are so formulaic and so overused.
I have heard older Scooter stuff as well (I'm Raving, Hyper Hyper, Back In The UK, Age Of Love etc.). I do not like any of these either, although that's probably because they aren't and never were my style.
However, Scooter tracks were the base of some excellent remix work back in the day:
Scooter - I'm Raving (Taucher Mix)
I consider it to be one of the best Taucher/Torsten Stenzel remixes. This remix has nothing in common with the original and has a lovely laid back dreamy approach.
Scooter - No Fate (R.O.O.S Mix 2)
Excellent remix of the Zyon cover by Piet Bervoets, and to be it stands out as some of his best work in the days before anthemic Dutch Trance had really taken off. Sounds a bit dated nowadays, but still a really catchy and uplifting old skool Dutch trancer. |

| quote: | | You CAN'T really say they aren't good. Besides, maybe they WERE happy hardcore, but now they are Vocal Trance/Techno. |
#1 mistake, trance addict in training talking about scooter, VERY typical
#2 trance addict in training calling scooter techno, very typical as well |
