LSD is potentially deadly. If you go on a bad trip you can kill yourself on accident while "trying to get away" from the trip.

My friend and his roommate were into it. His roommate, after 6 months of tripping, finally lost it. He's now committed to a mental asylum... no joke. My friend swore it off.
It's said that you cannot get a pilot's license if you've ever tripped on acid, because of flashbacks. But then who would disclose that they've tried it... |

c'mon guys, lets be real here. lsd is one of the 'safest' drugs. you'll be fine with one hit. the first time i did acid i took 1 and 1/2 hits and felt barely anything. differs with every person. better to start safe. at such a low dose nothing will be mindblowing and the potential for a bad trip is slim. keep yourself in the right mindset before the trip and dont use drugs to 'escape' something bad happening in your life.
with 1/2 of a hit i think you'll be disappointed. DON'T TOUCH THE PAPER (i assume its blotter) with your fingers. take it out of the foil (presuming it comes in foil) and directly from that on the tongue.

acid quality right now is somewhat sketchy so i doubt its really really good acid. dont listen to your ing friends who tells you "well the dealer said its this kind of acid and its really good so im charging you X amount of money." its bull. your dealer most likely didnt get it from a direct source or else you would have been involved with this a long time ago.

| basically, like anything good 1 time in a blue moon. moderation is the key. Acid aint nothin to around with, and I personally will probably never do it, while i WIll try X. dunno. just seems like a leap of magnitude to me. its a social thing and if no one did X and everyone "" acid id do acid. but there are kind of reasons why things arent done as much. kinda like stereopes and why they exist yah know. I love weed. only done it 3 time in my life. but i like it, and do it for good times. basically if you know you are weak willed (which many are) and cant stop doing a good thing, dont. but if you are strong like bull, do it once and cherish the memory. |

Its not a myth. I know because ive got it. Its called hppd, hallucinogen persisting perception disorder. It is very rare and u can get it from any hallucinogen afaik (except cannabis). Altho ive done acid i got it from ecstacy (igloos) I did 5 of those and toked like on the comedown. It was exactly the same as what e is normally like, but after toking i tripped hardcore for like 4 hours. It was far, far better than acid and probably the best night of my life, but a month after that (feb 2002, i was 16 then)i started noticing visuals. I had 2 flashbacks a few days before noticing anything. Flashbacks r just feeling like ur in that situation again for a second, its like deja vu. U dont see any or anything.
My symptoms r:
static vision, everything looks like it has a (very thin and not that noticable all the time) layer of tv static on it, it looks like u can actually see air particals flying around (theyre very small).
Fireflys, when u look at the sky or into certain types of light u can see loads of small white light things flying around (theyre bigger than the 'air particals') which look like theyre glowing.
Halos, things look like they have small blurry halos round them (depending on light).
Afterimages, like if u stare at a light for about a minute and look away and u see a black mark. Sorta like that, but i can look at anything for a split second and that happens.
Trails, moving things leave slight trails.
Random shapes and too. For example at any time a small bright coloured circle can appear and disappear within a second. Its annoying usually.
Im lucky i dont have it worse. I will never be able to do e or any hallucinogens again for the rest of my life or ele my symptoms will get worse, i dont know how much worse. And this is permanent with no cure. The only visual drug i can take is cannabis, and all i do nowadays is that, alcohol sometimes and opiates whenever i can. The only positive that comes out of this is the cool hallucinations u get when stoned, which r controllable to a certain degree. its lucky i already knew what hppd was before i got it or id think i was going crazy.
Id be surprised if the chances of getting hppd were as high as 1 in a million, so i wouldnt really worry about it if i was u. |

. I got all those symptoms (save for maybe the halo) and I don't even do drugs. I think. Sometimes I see colouyred dots bleeding and stuff. I've been getting weird memory lapses lately for a second or two (I kind of jump forward a second or two with no memory inbetween) but now they seem to have gone away.
oh yeah, if I look at a wall too long it starts to melt and move around.
Maybe I'm just going insane though. :sadgreen: |

Right, acid is my fav drug of the lot, but its not for everyone.
First off, I wouldnt advise doing more than a half the first time.
Second DONT do it by yourself, prefs with some close mates and deffo someone who has done it before to act as 'ground control' should stuff go a little pear-shaped.
I've done at least 500 trips in my lifetime, only had one bad one, and nothing like losing touch with reality and doing stuff like jumping off of buildings thinking I can fly and , because that doesnt happen.
You're more likely to have a trip disassociative to reality on shrooms than on acid, and those horror stories are usually more potent hallucinagens like angel dust or pcp.
But don't listen to me, I'm a retard :rolleyes: |

anyway, 1 drug u should never do is datura, because like 99% of people who use it reckon theyre lucky to be alive afterwards. Thats something that u really could kill urself on. U could probably even commit suicide because of its effects.

that's the kinda stuff that's puttin me off the idea.
as for the rest of you - i've never felt peer pressure like this before :p
moncster: i've tried that salvia stuff before, i bought the 10X extract, i was warned when buying it that it's real cool etc... neways, i took a few small bongs, and got this really weird buzz.. hard to describe, but, my advise: get the 6X, or 10X extract, take a massive bong of the stuff. i didn't trip at all, but i did feel REALLY weird. |
