Do *ANY* big DJs still use "DJ" in front of their name these days?

... was thinking about this today - and I think for the most part they've all done away with it.
I still remember when I got Blue Fear on Napster in 1998 and the filename was "DJ Armin - Blue Fear.mp3"
Cracks me up to this day. |

maybe a reason:
when a dj got booked for a club 5 years ago they say dj armin because if they say armin they will think it's a band or a live act but by dj armin they will now he going to spin records
and i cant think up any djs who use it?

Tiësto always released his cd's and productions/remixes as DJ Tiësto, but since a few months he doesn't use the DJ anymore.
Nyana was released as Tiësto and so are his remixes of Skin - Faithfulness and Kane - Rain Down On Me.
I don't know why most dj's don't use the DJ part in front of their name anymore though. Maybe because they want to be seen as artists and not strictly as dj's... |

I have heard that Remy has dropped the dj tag from his alias. Look at his Bang EP. Generally I think people are loosing the dj tag...form what i have seen, which isn't much! :) |
