World Premiere DVD Tiësto in Concert in open air!
Breda – on the 20th of September the world premiere of the DVD of the registration of the first DJ concert in the world ever: Tiësto in Concert, will take place. During the premiere the DVD will be shown for the first (and only) time in public. This will be combined with a spectacular open air show which, in many ways, will remind on the concert.
The DVD contains a registration of the spectacular performance of Tiësto in Gelredome, Arnhem on the 10th of May last. It was the first time ever a DJ gave an 8 hour concert. Tiësto took his audience on a musical journey around the world, complete with show acts, dancers, a spectacular lightshow and live performances.
The concert, organised by the Amsterdam based entertainment company ID&T, was sold out weeks in advance, and generated a 25.000 people audience. Journalists from all over the world came to The Netherlands to report this special event. Not without any reason: Tiësto has been selected as the number 1 DJ in the world by the high profile UK based magazine DJ Mag.
It took months of hard labour to get to the final DVD. It contains all highlights of the Concert, starting with the spectacular kick-off with the eye-blinding fire works show, The live performances of Jan Johnston and the arty visuals of Micha Klein.
To give this premiere the classy feeling as the original concert had, all the necessary means such as high quality sound system, lightshow and lasers have been used to create the original vibe. The registration will be projected on a 48sqm screen which will be placed on the “Grote Markt”, the main square in Tiësto´s native city Breda.
The premiere is simultaniously the release date of the official DVD (which contains a full registration of 3 hours). As of 21.00 hrs Free Record Shop in Breda will be specially opened for those who want to buy the DVD upfront. A few days after the premiere the DVD is available in regular shops.
The event will take place between 20.00 – 22.00 hrs, has no age limitations and is free of charge. |

| I personally think this DVD will not live up to my expectations... there's such a hype etc around it and TiC was so great that I don't think the DVD will do it justice but we'll see... maybe that'll be different now that i'm no longer a tiesto fan :p |
