haha, I don't think it'll hit NYC head on, so no flooding in the city. Besides, you guys went through the blackout, this should be nothing.

DAMN IT! You know this sucks. Every time my parents go away to NJ/NY for the weekend SOMETHING comes along to ruin it. Last time they left I got bronchitis and was flat on my back so I couldn't even GO anywhere and now this damn hurricane is going to up my weekend.

i'm hoping it hits richmond hard enough for classes to be canceled so my roommates and i can sit and drink and not have to worry about class.

Oy. I just thought about what my usual Friday night is like. I totally forgot that I've got class at the Nassau Country Fire Service Academy... I was supposed to do Hose 2 this week. TOO MUCH WATER! **Glub Glub** |

Nah. It's actually travelling west. The outskirts of the hurricane will affect more than half of LI (The western side), though. |
