| Crap, I think I'm going to have to sandbag my gf's front door. She lives in a basement apartment in G'town and sometimes her apartment floods during heavy rains alone. This means driving down sometime wednesday and then making it back up to philly for work on thursday :whip: :whip: |

When you lose power due to 115 mph winds knocking out powerlines, then losing cable & phones for the same reasons, you'll be a little scared.
I'm not really scared for myself, but my friends. Some are rednecks and are going to Dover for the race no matter what. Some are in the valley where severe flooding have flooded a few cities.
It's going to be great! I hope that the storm hits Philly with a little power, so that I can go home on Friday earlier. Or it hits really hard that night so that I don't have to go to work at all. |
