There are many things I dont understand, but I understnad most of em will never be understandable (lookee mom, I made a new word :toothless) to me, so it isn't worth my time or effort to mull over them, thus giving me more time to enjoy the things in life I do understand :)
Oh, and sometimes ppl dont understand me, but few do when I got my 4am MSN brain in action ;) |

u, ur, etc are useful in instant chatting as you need to be quick most of the time, and stuff like r0x0rz or sex0r is just silly harmless fun :D

I always figured it implied that the person asking the question seriously wants to know or cant understand why/how/etc
eg. "And how the hell did you get a VIP dressed like that??????"

Hehhehe, again, simple boredom relief, anyone who usees it thinking it is actually cool has issues, but it again can be fun in a playful context

that's easy, because the GUI of IRC automaticaly filters out most of the AOL users who switched to MSN and wanted to try IRC. thus, most of the "leet" people are on IRC who understand that changing nicks all the time is stupid and lame.
all the IRC rejects, however, started using MSN.... and there you go.
of course, with java-based IRC chatrooms we still have AOL hours, but not as many. |
