Best recommendation so far...
Andy Ling - Fixation [Airwave Remix].Mp3
A bit commercial sounding, but a very well developed tune that you can hum to, with some nice changes in tempo.
Cascade - Altitude.Mp3
A bit commercial sounding, but a very well developed tune that you can hum to.
Dave Seaman - Cape Town - Sacred Cycles
Good track, that becomes euphoric and instrumental in the second half, but the main instrument is only heard once or twice.
Brainchild - Symmetry C [Lange Breakbeat Remix].Mp3
Not bad, but not as emotionally deep as I would like.
Atlantis Vs. Avatar Feat. Miri - Fiji [Lange Remix].Mp3
Enigma style, not bad.
Agnelli And Nelson - Embrace [Original Mix] (10:29)
Slow at the start, with simple piano chords, but develops into a moody track.
Sauna - Mirage
Interesting Egyptian or Indian type feel to this track, can't think right now.
Dutch Force - Deadline.Mp3
A bit commercial, but has nice piano chords. The Dead Calm remix sounded a bit better.

Very commercial, but good
Carlos - The Silmarilla
A bit simple, but original with pan pipes/flute.
Li Kwan - Point Zero (Original Mix)
Moody tune, but it's hard to accept the vocals.
Orkidea - Unity
Interesting track with good structure, incorporating old skool acid type beats, but not really moody enough.
The Auranaut - Yo Yo
Slightly uplifting, but not doesn't really go anywhere, keeping you on the same level.
DJ Sakin & Friends - Protect Your Mind (Lange Mix)
I never checked this mix out, but forgot to mention in the opening post that the "Ayla Remix" is one of my all-time favs :)

Very nice spiritual music in the middle, but seperated from the beats (bad structure), what a shame!

The first half is very good up till 5 mins, but the 2nd half is crap.

i agreed with alot of what you had to say for some of the songs.
but....
simplicity is the beauty of these tracks.
I love the "progress" in wavy gravy. it does follow the basic trance song structure for the most part, but the vibe of it is different.
i sorta feel like i'm just gently floating on waves while i listen to this song.
i've had a friend who said the same thing about nobody's home the first time he heard it. then after hearing me play it a couple of times now and then, be became hooked on the song.
well to each their own, what is "spiritual" sounding to one individual is different to another.:D |
