there are currently no rules cause we have yet to find a good solution for it.
if we'd say no bumping at all we'd have to delete all these bumps or close the threads which leads to lots of flaming and slagging off the oh so mean mods; there are forums where you're allowed to bump your thread once, but that would encourage people to bump their threads. another solution could be to allow you to bump your thread after X days, but that would be too complicated for the users and the mods.
that's why we reply to these threads individually; bumping is not fair to other users and simcut knows that very well since he used to be mod of this forum.

what solution....simply just don't bump the threads....you bump threads anywhere on the board....it will likely be deleted, closed or fixed.
People has thought about solutions for eons and nothing has ever been in place. |
