Did anyone make it inside Avalon?

I got there at around 11:45 pm, and didn't!
Seemed like the whole friggin world was there.
At around 2:30 am, when I was really close to the front, they officially closed the doors, and told everyone in line to leave.
I saw Brian (kid nyce) in line not too far behind me, but it looked like he bounced a little earlier.
I went to some event downtown, and then came back around 4:45 am, and people were still trying to get in, but weren't allowed.
Similar story for anyone else here? Did anyone go to Arc afterwards?

A friend of mine said the doors opened at 11:15 pm, and he got in at that time. Dammit, I'm usually an early bird, but I got stuck with some stupid stuff to do before heading out.

I hope it's not going to be like this every weekend.

At least there were lots of hotties to be seen :tongue2

I was so pissed that I didn't go. Now I don't feel so bad. I would never had made it in at 4:00am like I was planning :stongue:

So Bree, how was your SF experience?
butterfly
i am glad i didnt bother. i went to hector romero at filter. it was a great party but i wasnt in the mood to go out so i went home at 2.

colibri
arrived around 2:40 lucky that a
friend had a reservation for one
of the three "sky boxes" rooms
overlooking the main floor...

my only wish was for someone like
j00f to be there ;) and for the
sound system to be clear & crisp

this venue has all the elements
necessary for a fantastic party,
from the layout point of view;
including a neat open garden

however; the sound system needs
to be tuned or fixed somehow; as
sounds get distorted often

lasers would definitely help as
well as more soothing lights
creating a more enjoyable visual
experience >> stellar designs
would do a formidable job there

an interesting element is that as
you walk around the 1st floor at
some point you’ll find yourself
right behind a transparent wall
facing the dj booth and the rest
of the floor

@ very least 2 amazing parties
should take place there this year,
binging back the limelight fun
nights of the early 90's . . .

Maybe they should do advanced tickets, like the Made @ Roxy events.
