Post your ride.

Basically, i bought this car cause i got a decent deal on this and i needed a car fast. IT has 83k Miles on it, very clean. I put in a K&N filter, removed the air silincer, tinted all the windows 20%, put in a System(Pioneer 4300 deck, 2 Pioneer 12" 600 watt, 300 rms subs, pioneeer 4way 6x8 around, 1600 watt legacy amp) Im planning on lowering the car, getting new rims, getting a flowmater exaust, different rims and chaning the grill...
Im keeping this car for 2 years and then im gonna buy something new.

1990 Acura Integra GS, that's my stock interior btw. I've done a few mods to it so far (AEM Cold Air Intake, OBX GT-5G pedals, Eurolite Brushed Aluminum dash insert, Momo Pitstop e-brake handle, and I've got an RS*R Ex-Mag catback exhaust on the way).

Well yeah, Puntos are good cars.

They looks pretty stylish, similar to the VW polo but probably a bit more sporty looking.

Fiat got a bad reputation in the 1980’s for reliability and also for their proneness to rust. Since then Fiat have shaken that image somewhat with new cars like the Punto & Stilo. I know someone who has a Punto MK1 that's done something like 120,000 miles without any major work, and the new models such as my MK2 (like mine), or the brand new MK3 are seen as even than the originals. So reliability really isn’t a problem.

I previously tried a Vauxhall Corsa & Ford Ka but due to my height (6’ 4”), I was very uncomfortable. I even tried my mums big sports type car and that was too cramped for me, but the Punto has loads of space. When driving less spacious cars I get cramp in both feet after 30 minutes or so. I can drive for 3 or 4 hours in the Punto before my legs start to ache.

Inside the car looks pretty cool, obviously for the price of the car the dashboard isn’t going to look that great, and indeed it is very ‘plastic’. However, compared to other cars such as Citroens the dash is very sturdy (Citroens can often be bent with the hand lol).

A previous car I tried was a 1.2l 8v Vauxhall Corsa, my Punto also has a 1.2l 8v engine but seems far more powerful than the Corsa. Its fun to drive and seems to handle pretty well.

The only problems I have had with the car so far are:
1) Indicators are not loud enough, sometimes you can forget you have them on
2) Indicators self cancel too easily (but I gather this feature can be turned off)
3) Suspension is a little rough at low speeds, but bizarrely is very smooth at high speeds :wtf:
