Paul Van Dyk... Reflections.
What do you guys think of it?
I like tracks 1, 4, and 9 (??).. that's about it. No, I don't have a track listing... as it was given to me by a friend.
If you have a track listing, please post it.
Anyways... if you ask me... overall... the new album is pretty much rubbish. Some of the vocals on the tracks (3) are just flat out horrible...and what's up with Paul producing a track that sounds like a rap song?

Yeah you're right theres way too many vocal tracks on this album. Trance albums should have 3 vocal tracks at the most. Theres nothing really innovating on this album either. I'm definately not buying this.
P.S. My favorite tracks are Reflections and Never Forget. |

| There definitely should have been a search performed here but nobodys perfect. Neways I love Paul as much as anyone else, but to be honest its albums like this thats the reason I thank my lucky stars for Mp3s every night. Its not horrible, but like mentioned its nothing new, it puts a diff spin to PvD with tracks like Knowledge and stuff its different for him but nothing weve never heard. Its just an awesome album. BTW my favs are Crush really just Crush hahah everything else Ive heard a long time ago or dont enjoy really oh and I almost forgot connected. |

Yeah heh theres been a topic about this already but waht the heck don't delete this thread lets just post some more again.
I think this album was just as bad as Oakies Bunkka, I know its cool to try new things blah blah blah but this sucked. Heh and if you're one of those derange PVD lovers dont flame me, it's only my opinion. PVD isn't God he too makes mistakes and his latest one is called Reflections |

yeah, this is way too much on the commercial side (a collaboration with a hip-hop producer and a rock band..WTF?!)
the only track i really really like was co-produced by Second Sun. |

| I gave Reflections a second spin but like my initial impressions, its was not good. In fact, the album is terrible. Its like some cheesy eurodance album. ACK! :whip: :eyes: |
