My Latest Remix :)

EN2T has only ever posted 2 tracks on TA, the first one 'Space UNLTD'
Which I have remixed here was one of the stars of 'TA Unite Part II' and his remix of 'Plummet - Damaged Won the TA Remix competition'
Not bad for 2 tracks :)
Coincidently, he is currently remixing my track 'Beyond The Horizon' :D

Anyway on to my remix.
No messing around here, just a pumpin', upliftin' floor filler.
No frills just pure uplifting trance :D

All critique, positive & negative welcomed :)

PS - I've just uploaded my website, it looks a bit crap but as I point out its there to showcase music not web-building talent !
Theres a load of my tunes & tons of midi files for U all :)
I'm looking to get a dot TK address for it but I havn't got round to that yet :D
Don't forget to dign the guestbook :p

first of all, I love the original.

..and this is an interesting remix. i haven't heard a style quite like this before.

i like the original better, but i am partial to it LoL. anyway, this is a cool remix of it and is totally different, which is nice.

at 4:57 the track really gets good :tongue2 ... really banging when it kicks back in.

the sound is nice, but one suggestion i would make is to put more reverb on the piano.. im sure you already do, but either putting some more on it or making the decay longer would help IMO.

anyway, good job and im happy to have another version of space unlimited.

peace
State of Matter
I would suggest more elements in the track during the main melody, sound is a bit empty. That said its a great mix, though it kinda drags on a bit in places.

good stuff, one of your better remixes!

the intro is very cool, though i feel the massive pad could be a bit more stereo/use a bit more reverb.. awesome percussion, kick and bassline rock! great phazed stuff going on at 2:30. when everything kicks in again it sounds a bit dry though, i'd add a counter melody there or a bit more effects.. the break is cool, but as i said before it could use a bit more reverb.. main lead rocks!

good remix

amazing production, really breathtaking
i love the build up, intro is great, and your main lead rocks

Hey Bren ;)

I really like this one mate, a bit darker than usual. Really dig that main pad sort of synth, sounds neat. Perhaps a bit more stereo would be nice.

Bassline is ace, maybe a bit too deep at places - is it detuned? Sounds a bit off sometimes to me (could be just me of course)...

I'm not sure whether that phasing synth is 100% in key with the main pad? Again, I'm not sure whether it's me or anything else :)

That piano is very sweet - I was surprised tor liked it hehe ;)

i must say the piano sounds much better than the one in diamond dust..

Yep, nice track here. Great intro (make that pad a bit more reverbed and spacey, sounds a bit rough and dry). Particularily liked the main lead, had a very nice sound to it. My main gripe is the apparent emptiness at times, but bar that - good work.

sounds really nice.. i like it :)

I liked the intro, very different. The strings did seem too "rough" as Mike said, but a bit of reverb would sort that. The bass, excellent my friend, spot on :D

Loved the sine wav synth thats used as a fill, a major hook!

The perc is good, but the clap is too weak imo.

2mins 30 and onwards owns me, great bass changes. Maybe the bass sample could be sorted out a bit, cause the start of the bass sequence sounds like its too low for the bass smaple/patch! Lovely piano! Kool breakdown, some kool filtering synth, and some juicey strings!

Main part has kicked in, great synth m8! Maybe it does sound a bit empty, sounds like its mid-range area? (Im probably wrong :p) what about adding a kool distorted (but subtle) acid that has the same arrangement as the bassline? Just a thought!

Overall mate, probably of your best tracks! Well played....

Thanks for all the comments people :D

Shep: U have a really unhealthy obsession with acid lines in tracks lol :p
