sorry i was thinken of dis and last year only :o when was da last time he actually spinned epic? not dis year or last year ;) maybe in 99'prolly back den :D coz i wasn't dat much in2 him and he very rarely plays den now :) |

pvd plays all styls of trance in there ........not just hard,epic,progressive...but a combination of the 2 ..... he can mix a set together with all styles of trance and make a crowd just love it thats why hes the best in my book...many djs that can spin amazing energy but focuss on one style.....PVD is so Versitile when he spins!!! |

just because totally dig picotto, consider him to be in mind, for my taste..one of my top three...and jules isnt even close...doesnt make me biast or nothing rofl:P |

hmmm..ill say jules. Just cuz Ive seen him, and nearly had an orgams.
And how can u really say that they r 'commercial' (yea the judge is when he plays on the radio, but what do you expect?) Seems some peeps r confusing commercial and popular. Next thing PvD is gonna be commercial cuz peeps like him too much! |

| I ve seen both of them in the last month and after listening to jules at qontact, he was a HUGE disappointment in new york. And then 2 weeks ago after listening to picotto at rosenmotags 2001 I was also semi-disappointed with picotto in DC. He was very good, but he played a lot of older tracks, i guess he was just catering to the dc crowd, which started clearing out at 4:30am while picotto still had an hour to go.. |

| omg am i reading this right? picotto vs jules.. uhhhh hmmmm let me think.. ok... mauro picotto.. wow that was suprisingly not a hard choice:rolleyes:.. ive heard a lot more commercial and cheesy tracks in jules sets then i have picottos. and sorry but mauro picottos style is not that appealing to a lot of people. i know people who went to see him w/o knowing what type of music he plays and hated it. but hes definitely a more skilled dj and producer. peace!! -layla |

Maybe, but to call Picotto innovative...
And his own sounds is way to much his own sound. Proximus sounds EXACTLY the same as Komodo. (I know these are just two of his songs, and you can call them a project... maybe...)
This was about dj-ing in the first place, not producing. |
