| Well we are comparing the 2. Good DJ's aspire & evolve to producers. Caned & Unable & Pitchin don't sound similar??? Plus they are cheddar. JJ plays cheese & anthems, no upfront tunes. Picotto doesn't have the sickest DJ'ing skills...he just bangs it out. JJ's set in NY was weak, too many break downs, horrible programming. For his first NYC debut he coulda have been 10x betta. |

JJ is a pretty good DJ, his Qontact set is very popular.
I don't like MP's commercial tracks, but his sets are
enjoyable (altough I haven't heard many of them).
For exampe: his was brilliant at Mayday2001

How can u compare these 2??? Picotto is way up there, and Jules is way down there.... Picotto is a king... one of my top 3 DJ's his music is crazy, makes u go nuts... its got trance, house, techno all in the one track.... Judge Jules Qontact set was good, yes i agree, but this is a DJ who doesnt shake his fans hands.... he is a complete fukhead n i hate him... anyone see the post about Judge Jules sucks??

What!? Picotto is beyond ing incredible mixing wise and can do so much on turntables, that I didn't even know was possible! Have you ever seen him spin? He'll blow you away for sure! I don't particularly like techno, I usually prefer uplifting/epic/progressive, but Picotto is my one and only exception, what does that tell you about him?
Oh n btw, I definetly agree with you DJAhmet, nice link! :D |

| They are both excellent... I like Judge's tracks better. Mauro is a fine DJ though, don't get me wrong! |

| This is DJ vs DJ, so it's Picotto without question, and if you said Jules, you obviously haven't seen Picotto spin live... His mixing skills are amazing, plus his filtering skills with tracks... Holy !!! I have yet to see a DJ live that can do the stuff he can or do it just as good. All and all they are both great DJ's, but when we're talkin about skill here, then it's Picotto for sure. |

These are really two TOTALLY different DJ's.... (funny thing is, i saw Picotto in February at the music conference, and you know who opened for him? JUDGE JULES!!!) haha, it was funny to watch the judge try to throw in "baguette" with the rest of his set... LoL...
Anyways, two totally different kinds of electronic music, but if i had to pick between the two shows at the same night, i would definitely go with Picotto... so much energy.
Whoever said that Picotto is commercial is a moron.
