| yeah he has a variety of genres when he produces...but when he DJs..hes ALL TECHNO!!! HARD FUNCKY EVIL DARK SOUNDING TECHNO >....I LOVE HIS ......i dj trance but im getting into his style of techno ..and that area off hard pounding 4/4 beats with dark evil synths |

People here consider his music hard house for some reason. haha.
Picotto has different genre tracks, I would say komodo is trance, but spectra is just spinning dark techno hell. |

| Picotto can not b placed in one genre. He is being called techno, hard trance, hard house, etc, but really he is in the process of creating his own genre |

| mauro picotto is not your usual dj. he's italian, has a fascination with reptiles, shaves japanese logos into his head and loves fishing. whats more, he's responsible for bridging the gap between hard house and trance, appealing to the 'crasher kids and the sundissential posse alike. his music may be harder than a scouse bulldog but its quickley becoming a worldwide phenomenon and has such a mass appeal that 'baguette' has even been heard blasting out of the tannoy at cape town airport. techno used to be the soiled sock in dance music's dirty laundry until mauro fed it through his spank 1000 washing machine, added some extra-strength boshing powder and whacked it on super fast spin. just don't expect any softener |
