I remember HMV had a press release saying that ATB would not be able to come for the autograph signing. Graham Gold wasn't cheesy at Nasty. I was quite impressed with his programming skill. Must be that bold head of his. :D
I recall seeing ATB in Germany. He was okay. Didn't blow me away. As for production skill, I prefer him as Sequential One.
Where do you guys get your Trance fix in Vancouver? Club-wise? Don't see that many parties here catering Trance crowds. |

club-wise? we dont, or, i dont know any clubs that play good trance. the closest thing is mayvbe sonar, but they mostly play house whenever any elecrtronic music is played. but i think sonar is bunk:whip: . Seb fontaine played the rage in jan:D . if you find a club that plays good trance, let me know:p |

Man now that i know theres this many people from van ill post updates about trance in the club scene. As far as I know right now there is no trance night. there used to be one at 7 Alexander i think it was put on by G-house. They shut it down though. Right now I would recomend Lime @ Wet Bar on thursdays. Its not trance but the music is usually pretty good. Its put on by ET.Brothers so expect to see sets by GrooveRobber, Kultcha, horsey and others.
I might be helping out with the start of a trance night but I wont know whats going on for a while. Next time im downtown ill try to get some info about how thats going.
Please tell me you guys went to the Renaissance tour at the Drink about 3 weeks ago. Nigel Dawson spun a tight set. The turn out wasnt as good as we expected but there was an awson atmosphere. |

yes the lack of a solid trance scene or genuine "trance djs" is why ive focussed on such...
anyways i got carded at seb fontaine, even after buying tix
that ing pissed me off
have any you guys been to "U-Gruv" thursdays at palladium... supposed to be "rave tunes and classics" which i guess includes trance..
sounds like a weak night, but wondering if anyones ever gone.. |

| patticus, you missed out when seb came to town? that sucks man:sadgreen: it was a pretty bangin set, but i wont rub it in. ya, special k, i know lots of people that are sick of going to most clubs cuz of top 40 , but id be interested in a regular basis trance night at one of the clubs :D , you should put up posts in the vancouver forum whenever you hear of something good, since you seem to know whats going on more than i do:o |

Ya the rage is brutal with ID. One of my good friends had an ID and they still wouldnt let her in. I even got the promoters to vouch for her age and the still wouldnt give in. palladium the night club is no longer open. I think there final night was last week.
Honestly when it comes to promotion companys in Van Pure Productions is the people to go to for trance. There the ones tat brought Seb down. The two owners love there trance plus they know there when it comes down to it. As soon as I find out what there planning for upcoming events ill post it in the Vancouver forum. |
