Official: TrancEaddict Anthem - Stage One

Time to produce an official anthem for this site..
The track will be selected through a competition. It will be held in two stages, one being the melody, and the second one being the track itself.
Stage 1: The Melody
Starting date: October 6th.
Closing date: October 26th.
Everybody who wants can upload a melody via this address: http://67.82.25.80:2003/midiupload/
After the closing date, Swamper will select the melody he thinks is best out of those submitted. A full track will then be made with that melody, in the form of a remix competition (stage 2). More details about stage 2 will follow after stage 1 is over.
Rules:
1. The melody you upload must be midi format (.mid)
2. The midi file may only contain ONE melody + bassline (no counter-melodies on the background, no additional strings, etc.)
3. It is preferable that the melody is played twice (if your melody is 4 bars the midi file should be 8 bars, if your melody is 8 bars the midi file should be 16 bars, etc.)
4. The midi file must be uploaded to this address and this address only: http://67.82.25.80:2003/midiupload/
5. Only ONE midi file per user is allowed (make sure you are satisfied with your melody before you proceed to upload)
6. The tag of your midi file must contain your tranceaddict.com user name and the title ‘TrancEaddict Anthem’ (e.g. Tor8024 – TrancEaddict Anthem)

I don't see anyone saying that ;)
The only thing is that the melody has to loop twice. |

preferably yes. it's not obligatory, but if you play it only once it's harder to hear if the first and the last chord follow each other..
remember, don't submit anything too fast, because you are only allowed to upload one melody! |
