Don't you guys ever wondered how the Internet slang such as "lol", or "gtg", "brb" etc. you know the deal is now being used in our common language?
Of course pointing out the obvious, adults will never cease to use them unless your they are some adult net freak's, and all those older category crap. I'm referring to children, teen's, and other young adults who are often come in contact with the words "l33t", "ph34r m3", "gg", "rofl?."
I don't mind it, not at all, but just when I was taking the subway I overheard some little punks saying things such as, "Dude rofl, don't make me take out my leet haxor and p-wn you?" Like seriously folks, the world is coming to an end, I can see it now starting with langauge. I'm a teen myself, and I do understand language is used on how we grow within it, but now that the power of Internet was born, language itself has made a great change on the Internet as well.
Do you guys agree? Any other experiences you had? I would like to know for the hell of it, I'm bored.
Commonly used examples (popular):
ROFL, GG, LMAO, LOL, LEET, HAXOR, PWN, OWN, OWNAGE, PURE OWNAGE, TEH ROXOR, and the favourite OMGHI2U!!!!!!!
