id like to do a remix of a track that has vocals - u can make it sound heaps different yet at the same time keep the feel of the song via the vocals.

Maybe something like JFOS - Do What You Want or Holden & Thompson - Nothing.

But at the time if I was a superstar DJ back in the day, I would have remixed Greece 2000 or more so an anthem like Flaming June which I think I would have predicted to be one of the greatest productions ever to be heard judging by its effect on me the first time I ever heard it.

The more lee-way u have to play with a song the more unique it is as ur own, but maintain similar instruments and sounds in each production so it can be recognised as one of your tracks..

ooooh if were talking remixing any genre

id love to remix Guns N' Roses - Dont Cry or November Rain into a prog track.. that would just own

Nirvana tracks sound good remixed as done by Adam Freeland and another remix of Come As You Are.

Maybe Chilli Peppers - Under The Bridge could sound alright. Theres one track I really wanted to remix ages ago, its a classical piano track by Richard Klayderman - Memory , would make a killer trance track !

werd jules on both fronts. muse piano sections are oh so memorable and TOOL are just relentless.

i remember once at a dirty dirty warehouse event some dj just stopped the doof doof altogether and blasted tool's 'sober' in its entireity, one of my most memorable rave moments i think. :wtf:

oh yeah i'd have a go at sum pumpkin's tunes, prolly disarm, tonite tonite and a nice proggy bullet with butterfly wings. also 'the cure' deserve a good doing over.
