Hey ERIC, I know this probably didn't cross your mind because you haven't come out to a single event in years, but did it occur to you for a split second that I've actually MET those people involved in the flame war, and not only met them but chatted with them on several occasions and been friendly? My comment was perfectly in context - I really had no idea that they were such jackasses until that thread blew up into a massive war. Anyway, thought I would explain that in case you couldn't understand, but regardless, you've never met me so I don't really give two flying s what your opinion is, and you're not someone who I would ever want as a friend anyway.

I take it back man ur not intellectual...what u just said thats my point exactly...ur basing ur whole judgement of a group of ppl on a in THREAD!!!!! like seriously man... The internet and reality are two complete different worlds... im not sure if ppl agree on what im about to say but message boards I feel when someone posts its not how the would act in real life most of the time...It might be what theyre thinking but in a normal discussion in real life ppl wouldnt say half the they say here or act the way they act here...take me for example u think if we were all in one big room i would be running around causing the whole time ? :P prolly not... i have that in me no doubt abt it but i wouldnt be doing in public in a room full of ppl i didnt know...u see being behind a screen adds confidence to ppl and adds less shame because nobody really knows who u are and therefore makes it easier to express things ur thinking but are to scared to say in real life ...and i know ur gonna say but i know him in real life ,but it dont matter..in my opinion ur judging a group of ppl on how they think not how they are...and thats something u cannot judge or base an opinon on in my books...so if u ask me i dont think they are jackassess i think they were being real and expressing what they thought without having the little voice in their head saying "hey u cant say that ull make someone feel bad" cause theres no little voice on the net...so you can disagree with what they think no doubt but to judge someone on the way they think i think is wrong...
this may make no sense but this is a hard issue to put into words... |
