i never get any probs with ntl either:)altho some stuff u describe is true. like the help lineLOL!!!and never bein onnected 4 2 hours. but change if u h8 it so much and stop whining..or get a better computer ffs. mine is crap 2 but c'mon |

well obviously u dont ing read. if u would have read what i last sed, it AINT MYYY FFFUCCCKIMNG CCOMPUTEEEEERRRRR!!!!!! did u get that?... for sakes.... AND i cant change isps... if u would have read my other post previously posted in this thread it said this "no, thats the thing... i cant switch, cuz there aint any other local free ones!!!!" So u have just proven to me that u are more stupid then i thought. u tell me to to do soemthing which i cant do and i have already said why.... stupid!!!!! |

u got 2 options then...
a) move
b) get BT anytime, its the same price and just as free.
i usually get 2 hours of connection as well... maybe they just hate you :p:)

2. U can buy a cable modem, as I bought mine, so its £20 a month, not £25

ntl auto disconnects after 2h it actually says that some where in contract or some thing, They are claiming cause some ppl just connect and forget to diconnect, also claim it's to let others connect, but all it does for me is just piss me off, and make my modem make odd noises in the middle of the night as it automaticaly reconnects. I recon most ppl just auto reconnect so the 2h limit just pisses every one off doesn't free anything up. As does the 5min dead time and your off rule. Cause if i'm writing something big online then it takes over 5 min and i get disconnected and click send and sometimes lose what i just wrote, and that pisses me off loads.
Does any one else find their PC is unable to reconnect and needs a restart if you are downloading When it disconects after 2h?

hey i can help! i had the same problem and i told ta and me man tempes sent me a proggie called "keepras" and it pings websites and keep connections alive, i can open it and have dinner and come back and im still connected! its small, uses hardly ne resources, and keeps my connection alive all the time so i never loose it when i post! it pings websites (time it takes to send and recive a byte) and sends and recives 64bytes every 2mins so i never loose me connection, its great! if u want it, its only 25k, pm me an email address and ill send it you, cant live without it when uve got it!

| Im am so so so sooo Glad I have a good old cable modem..ahh permanent connection. Blazing fast..now on the other hand u do have the most kick ass parties ever, and WE dont...so stop whining about your connection...or else ill start whining about who I DONT get to see... |

| i dont have problems with the ive minute dead thing!.... i can be downloading something or ANYTHING on the net, and anywhere inbetween the two hour limit, it clicks! |
