do I really NEED Technics? (pg. 2)

Your looking at 750$ (Can) for MK2's and 800$ (Can) for M3D's, each. Actually right now apparently Technics stock is low, has to do with the time of the year and the DMC's or some like that. ANYWAYS, my advice guy, grab the cheapest deck you can get, ANYONES as long as they have pitch. even the cheapest Gemini's. Get them for a year. Once your for sure happy you got into it, once you know you want to start making money. Sell those pieces of for 20$ and buy some 1200's. Because you were used to for a year, you'll grasp the tech's very quickly, it will be natural for you to get used to the direct drive. How do I know, exactly what I did. My beatmatching is sick because I went with ghetto equipment, no bass control on mixer either, let me tell ya, you learn to beatmatch pretty quick when you have no other choice with the bass. hah

Take it a step at a time, buying 2000 ing turntables isn't always the most feasible thing to do unless your Paul Van Dyk's son or some . hah

J-SPOT I sent you a message about the Denons andd our findings. To everyone else, I have to run out for a little while but when I get back, I will post a new message concerning the Denon DP DJ151s and their likeness to the 1200s. (new findings)

...well, if you dont have $$$$ but have a computer with cable modem and burner...i think the best way to go is buy some CD players from denon and a mixer.... and never pay for vinyls ever again....just burn mp3's to a cd .... i know everyone would rather spin vinyl...but c'mon...we're in the digital age now =)

Man get ty tables before you get a CD setup. I love going to record stores and adding upon my record collection. A record has a hell of a lot more personality then an mp3.

j_spot
exactly!!!! and besides, quality of the sound? Im not gonna do that! Its what I do now!
patticus
